xbooost is for resistive loads. the old river needs constant voltage and will be shutting down the incoming power as the voltage modulates downward as the volts go above 300
Thanks for that. I have found they're good with updates etc too. Sometimes it's hard to tell if they're just being nice because I'm doing a review though. Good to know it's genuine
Cigarette plug. How bout a cork outa wine bottle Trim to size. With a Scew down the middle of it, so you can grip it n take it out. Thanks for the review buddy 👍
Another con is the missing flashlight compared to the previous model. Btw, is it possible to use the unit as a starter for a car in case its own battery is dead?
Their coming out of your ears haha never have too many so much better than stand alone batteries and all the wiring you needed to make them usable Do enjoy
Hey les, yeah there's not ready you DIYing something that compact out pretty. Well I sure ain't. A bit more capacity would make them even handier I reckon.
what i dont understand is if ecoflow and the like, want to get into the Australian Market, They must put 50Amp Anderson plugs on them.Thats what is holding me back from buying one, as you know we love Andersons in oz.
I'd love more access to the dc side with a higher current limit. I think the reason they don't is its not meant for those who are more of the diy types that would use that as an option. It means additional fusing and wiring that would add cost. Basically this of us that would use that, just aren't the target market. The ciggie plug whilst old limits the usage possibilities to 'safer' options. Like fridges and sub 10A products. Realistically those of us who want that, are better off going with a lithium battery with larger capacity anyway. It won't stop me wanting it though.

Mine works great. Customer service is excellent too.

So what is the deal with ExBoostfor charging and powering the jug? Did you get feedback from Ecoflow?
They're checking it out for me at the moment. Sounds like it might be a batch issue, but not sure .
