    What We Like?
    Balanced aesthetics with clean lines and a hint of muscle.
    The proven 1.5L i-VTEC engine offers spirited performance.
    Well-tuned suspension for a comfortable and controlled driving experience.
    Clean and roomy cabin design with a generous 458L boot.
    Honda's renowned reliability and strong after-sales service.
    Includes ADAS Level 2 tech, 6 airbags, hill start assist, lane watch assist, ISOFIX, and ESP.
    What could have been better?
    Competitors offer more powerful turbo-petrol engines and faster dual-clutch automatic transmissions.
    CVT suits city driving but lacks enthusiasm on open roads.
    No diesel or hybrid variants are available, while competitors offer both.
    Premium features like a 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, heads-up display (HUD), and ventilated seats are absent.
    GNCAP safety rating information is currently unavailable.

    Not clear why in a hot country like India which climate change is making steadily warmer, customers want a sun roof. Sun roofs are meant for cold or temperate countries where sunlight is scarce.
    Secondly, what is so special about a start button and keyless entry? Start button was available on many vehicles in the early 1950s but ignition was initiated with a key, IMHO a much more sensible option.

    using honda amaze for last 6yrs. not a single part except battery is changed. reliability is great. second gear is not an issue. we need to have minimum speed to change from 1st to 2nd gear about 5kmph or more And 2nd to 1st gear about 5kmph or less. i took time to understand this.

    2nd gear is not issue its general behaviour of honda manual transmission…. Over time it will get better. Wrv and amaza also had same issue

    Today, I had my second Honda Elevate test drive of the top model, the CVT ZX. However, I must say that it doesn't feel like a true Honda product; it only bears the Honda name. On rough roads, there is excessive cabin noise, especially in the back.
    The cabin is spacious enough and can be considered the best in its segment. However, the excessive noise is a major issue. The suspension needs significant improvement compared to market competitors like the Creta and Seltos, as well as accelerator noise while pressing the race pedal. I tried both slow and aggressive driving, but the result was the same. I'm not sure if the test drive model I used had specific issues, but I tried two test drives from different dealerships because the overwhelmingly positive reviews intrigued me.
    I have to wonder why the Creta and Seltos have had such peak sales performance. While I need a family vehicle for the long term, I don't want to rely solely on a brand name.
    I test drove the Hyryder, Seltos, Creta, Nexon, and Elevate, all in the petrol segment. However, I was disappointed by their price-to-performance ratio. This segment is particularly confusing for buyers in the 15 lakh price range.
    In my experience, the Grand Vitara is cheap market garbage for such a premium segment of 15-20 lakhs.
    I'm still confused about what to buy. If anyone has any good experiences with a good vehicle under 15 lakhs in May 2024, please let me know; it would be a great help.

      we have Xuv300 petrol bought from PPS Mahindra(good dealership so far).The car is at 6000km ODO right now and more than a year old .Xuv300 has 5 star adult and 4 star child ratings I dont know why Mahindra does not advertise this as much as TATA with its Nexon .At the time we bought the car it was the only one with 6 airbags under 15 lacks.It has a very refined petrol engine with more than enough punch for overtaking.Xuv300 is heavier than its rivals and it results in stable ride at high speeds.Body roll is felt if you are cornering at speeds more than 45km/h from my experience.I say now that you can give Xuv 3xo a try.It has solved almost all the shortcomings of Xuv300.But i still love the looks of Xuv300 but not a fan of the new 3xo s looks.I dont know much about kushaq but i think skoda kushaq is also a note worthy fun to drive car with good safety and power.I test drove the Maruthi brezza it was good for sedate driving, but i think it will have better mileage. Well to be honest i dont think none of these SUV's would give milege better than 20km/l at max. Because all of them are heavy,if you really want mileage then i think hyryder strong hybrid is the best. And lastly if you are gonna buy a Mahindra better research about the dealer and visit their service center ask some customers about their experience with the dealership and staff behaviour just to be safe.

    Honda elevate is a good car, and good drivers don't need 360 camera. People have been driving since the first Maruti came 40 yrs ago, and where were the features, hats off to those people, the Korean and other makes give lot of features and now everyone want everything, be it in a car or house whatever even if they need or not. All that glitters is not gold, safety and reliability is more important and no one can beat Japanese make in that case. And for sunroof, this is India not Switzerland.

    Hi,does the reverse camera 📷 of the automatic elevate has adaptive guide lines?
    How's the hill and steep inclined performance of CVT elevate with full load with 5 people and A/c on?

      Yes it will have guidelines, pretty basic in all cameras across cars I believe.
      Please consider a torque converter especially if you’re frequenting hilly terrain. Much more reliable than CVTs over all. CVTs will succumb to wear and tear sooner. Also might give you a feel of elastic pull on steep slopes with the CVT. TC is common across segments you’re looking at so it shouldn’t be trouble looking for an alternative. Happy shopping!

    I purchased Honda Elevate Top Model in Manual Transmission from Himalayan Honda Shimla, this car has three major issues: 1)1st Infotainment system: In infotainment system, some time it show blank screen as well as there is Bluetooth connectivity issue while we connect Bluetooth it doesn't show any screen for the music.
    2) There is problem in 1st gear, specially when we drive it in hills, it create a unique kind of engine noise. The representatives of Honda reported that this issue exist in every Honda Elevate. So, we will wait for few more complaints from users.
    3) There is interior sound in dashboard left side, which irritate a lot.
    For, the above mentioned issue I visited three times in Honda Showroom, but till date same issues exist.

    I owned ZX manual, even in city massive jammed traffic, mileage is 14.5 , driver must ensure that engine rpm should not cross beyond 2000 rpm, apart of mikeage pickup is as good as of with natural aspirated go like rocket, suspension buttery soft

    Love my VX MT. Every single feature is worth the money. However, there are some annoyances.
    1. My left foot is at such an angle that driving in stop and go traffic gives me a significant pain. This is also due to my height of 6 feet and the front seat not having deeper slide backwards. I am using a coccyx cushion to find a better position and alleviate the pain a bit.
    2. Even the VX feels mostly similar to the base variant sometimes. The variant distribution was clearly made for ZX to be the best. So the cost cutting shows in many areas. Indicator stalks are somewhat flimsy feeling, some plastics in the steering not joined perfectly, tough to find the window controls in the dark, too much plastic sounds when kids grace your car
    3. Front windshield water jet seems like a tiny stream and may make you think that you are about to run out of wiper washer fluid.
    4. Body cover provided by Honda is hard to use. It takes a while to understand which side is which. The material is adequate.
    5. Bucket mats that come as part of the basic kit are disappointing as they keep sliding toward the clutch and accelerator. This some times makes it hard for the foot to stay put on the foot controls.
    6. There is a storage space between the front seats. It has a cover which will seem like it will act as an elbow rest at first. However, my elbow barely reaches it even if I slide the driving seat backwards to its limit.

      @@bharatmetalfan I do recommend Honda Elevate. Just need to be aware that there are some annoyances like every car does. Just need be aware what those are for this car.

      ata h khub cabin noise koi cover kyon ni kerta. ....i don't know....its most important reason to not considered....how a person tell its Comfortable in such noise environment.....har ek breaker gada ka pta chlega .even in slow speed.m bhi .. go n test drive it ..

      I drive brezza and the suspension is bad. Maybe Elevate will have much better ride quality. Use a small pillow or a cushion, it helps for me.

    My reason not to buy elevate is cruise control is must these days. It should be available for v or vx atleast. They only provide cruise with zx only.

    3 reason for which i am not going for Elevate, 1. No 360 view camera, 2. No Sunroofs, 3. GNCAP testing not done yet.

      Normal sunroof is there in top and second top variants. I agree 360 view camera should be factory fitted but it is available as an accessory. This car based on the same platform as Honda City which is 5 star rated in Asean Ncap and looking at the past record of Honda, Elevate will perform similar. Ride quality and visibility from driver seat is the USP of this car.

      @@ravikantbhardwaj4593 Too whom is it not justified?? Value is completely subjective and it needs a context. I remember my neighbor buying Seltos (pre-facelift) over Creta simply because he didn’t wanted a panoramic sunroof, a feature that is generally considered more desirable!! So, is he satisfied with his purchase? Hell Yeah.
      Elevate will not dethrone Koreans and even Honda knows it. It is not got gonna wow you or change your mind if you already have a segment favourite.
      But it is mechanically sorted, the ride quality is almost segment best and it is priced right for a Honda (the V CVT variant is the most affordable automatic in the segment). It is a sensible compromise between Koreans that lack in driving dynamics/ride quality and Germans that are difficult to own in long term.
