@JamesCastle-vd1lc the problem is that half the time you're improving their draws. You shuffle Rommath, and instead they topdeck card draw which gives them Sif. On top of that you're spending mana on "doing nothing" and removing your hero power too. And then they play Finley and draw the best cards in their deck. It sounds good on paper but when you look at it more closely it's really hard to justify it.

Kurthus was my favorite payoff card when it came out, my first 20 games of the set were spent trying to perfect DH even though I knew it was subpar compared to other payoffs (except Hunter that one is pretty w/e as well) and decks at the time. Really fun card and when it goes off it can win a game on the spot!
Highlander Hunter actually maintained a pretty high winrate for a while, like for a month it was over 50% in high legend. It tanked after the mini-set though and I havent seen it since.
@@crunchytoast6007 I suppose you meant D*H*. Why substitute it, though? Would it make sense to you to take out Gunslinger Kurtrus and put another card in its place? Then why take out Theotar in this deck and substitute it for any other card? I would much rather have Theotar in the deck than Mechagnome Guide, for example.
@@jhony357 true because Theotar is just a powerful card but he’s also probably a little tired of running Theotar in every non aggro deck so if he can have that excuse to not put it in and achieve a similar effect with a different card, especially in a deck he’s clearly not being hyper competitive with, he’ll take the opportunity to not run it
Honestly Kurtrus is hilariously funny when you bounce it back in hand, and in a single turn shoot out 3 of their key cards. (with some cost reduction from the titan)
Why would you ever run algalon in a reno deck. Its a 4 mana 4/4 with a situational, low value hero power that you will want to overwrtite at the first oppurtunity
