- Welcome to another episode of Flipping Out with Bridget Sloan. Our guests on today’s show are Jordyn Wieber and Chris Brooks, and they have a lot in common. Both are Olympians, both coach gymnastics at the University of Arkansas, and perhaps the ultimate thing to have in common is family - because they are married!
We talk about life as a married couple coaching a premier gymnastics program, why they decided to get into coaching, and what they think is the most important muscle in all of gymnastics. The answer might surprise you.

Great podcast! I had no idea you started one but I will be watching! Thanks for the shout out to Arkansas gymnastics. I have been attending meets in Barnhill since opening night way back in the beginning. (Yes I remember watching you! I actually have a picture of you and my daughter in Barnhill when she was about 4 years old.) I have seen so much growth since Jordyn and Chris came and the team is going to be INCREDIBLE this year. The routines are crisper, more exciting, and those women are superstars in the making! Woo Pig!

I keep thinking of Bridget and Jordyn at the 2009 American Cup. It was a big moment for both of them. For Bridget bursting on to the scene as a new veteran and Jordyn bursting onto the scene as a standout junior. I remember thinking, “Jordyn looks so little and Bridget’s the big sis after being the baby of the team!” Time freaking flies!!
Always thought Chris was so handsome 🫣
