I loved this interview, but I wish they would have talked more about his younger years at Concordia where he won 92 straight before losing his first game and the people in addition to his dad that helped him along the way such as Dr. and Mrs. June and their family, Mr and Mrs Thomas Ruppert ( his grade school coach and his wife who was Shauns kindergarten teacher) and Pastor and Mrs. Freudenburg who were also very important in influencing his life and his faith along his life. I honestly think that without all of them he would not be the man he is today.

My favorite player next to Iverson and MJ. Shaun don’t get the respect he deserves. Being apart of that late 2000’s Clippers team that took the Clips to the playoffs after a long time. He was the Clippers young gun before his injury. I watched and stayed updated on his recovery best I could back then. That’s back when you had to read to hear news cause social media wasn’t as active as it is now. Loved that he not only kept his leg by the grace of God, but he bounced back and got 4 rings. 3 as a player, and 1 as a executive. Well done Shaun, so happy and proud of you bruh. True definition of resilience 💯✊🏾!

Livingston was so crucial to those Warriors teams because he had the size to switch and was so versatile. Warriors would run lineups with him, Andre, Dray, Klay, etc and it would have opposing offenses shook because they could all guard 1-4 with Dray sometimes guarding the 5. That gave Steph the freedom to roam off ball too as Livingston could handle the rock with great efficiency. Add in his leadership, deadly mid range, and consistency in the clutch…he’s one of the best role players of all time

I was listening to that game live on the radio, and when he collapsed on the court, his mouth must have been near a microphone because his scream sounded excruciating. The mic may have also picked up the gritty sound of his leg shattering too. He was already so skinny/slight when he was with the Clippers; everyone thought his playing days were over. I have mad respect for him.

    On Stephen Jackson:
Marcus Thompson of the Contra Costa Times conveys his opinion as such: "He takes the younger players under his wing, taking them shopping, dispensing advice, lending an ear. What's more, he does the little things that are unbecoming of a millionaire. He looks people in the eye when they talk to him, as if he cares about what they're saying. He frequently doles out handshakes, half-hugs and, to women, pecks on the cheek. He returns phone calls. He mends fences, lifts spirits, makes others feel special."[82] Following a community outreach event, Gwen Knapp of the San Francisco Chronicle stated that "[Jackson] couldn't have been more charming or more engaged, the perfect face of the franchise
