Hey there! Relative humidity (or the use of a humidifier) would not cause a RI, especially in this species as they require such high humidity. However, the conditions in high-humidity environments are more likely to have fungal/bacterial growth, especially if the enclosure is too wet or not kept clean. Maintaining good airflow, not keeping the enclosure overly saturated, frequent spot cleaning, using springtails to keep after mold growth, and potentially adding leaves rich in tannins and/or sphagnum moss for antibacterial properties - all things we would recommend doing. As long as airflow is maintained and the humidifier itself is not dirty, you won't have to worry about RI.

This is awesome. I've heard from breeders that the BRB will get RI from humidifiers. I need some help! I just put a deposit down on one

@@zenhabitats thanks so much! I'm looking into getting a hydrometer. Do you any you recommend?
Just don’t get one, no need for us as snake owners to own a BR. Too risky

As they are semi arboreal i would prefer to keep them in a 5 long 2 wide and 3 tall enclosure or better a 6 long 2 wide and 3 tall
How do you set up the foggers? I’m highly considering getting one of these. What’s the best way to heat a 8ft enclosure from you guys?
We will be doing a full Short for you soon!!
