I agree with Al that Vince and Shane’s relationship is estranged. Honestly, that story of Shane being fired at the 2022 Royal Rumble, I truly believe that Vince did that, because Shane found out about Vince’s heinous shit, and he got fired to cover it up.

Russo didn't like it, but Al is right. There is nothing about AEW worth buying. It's hemorrhaging cash with big contracts that can't possibly be paid. The talent there isn't even worth having in the first place. The TV shows are on the verge of being cancelled. I guess they could buy the wrestling rights, but I'm sure Vince and Shane could have new ones made for less.
AEW's video library isn't even worth owning. Nobody wants to see their brand of trampoline wrestling. That's why they're in the position they're in right now.
Vince, I'd like to see you, Shane, and Stevie Richards start a promotion. That, I would watch. (You could get 'V. Kennedy' to bankroll it -- promise him you'll "f*ck em!!".)

I don't think anything is going on with Shane and AEW. Nothing. It's a stupid rumor started after Jim Ross made some comments that people have blown way out of proportion. However, I can envision a scenario where Shahid decides that AEW is losing way too much money, and ultimately AEW gets sold to Shane. Shane then has his chance to run a big wrestling company, since Vince didn't see him as the guy to succeed him for whatever reason.
Someone, whether Shane, Vince, or whoever would be better off buying TNA from Anthem than AEW. Tony Kahn keeps saying he's a billionaire. He don't give a shit about the money. I don't think he'd ever want to sell, especially to Vince. If Vince were to buy it, they may have a lot of the workers wanting to quit because of the scandals or past dealings with him. If Tony & Shane could come to terms, it's a possibility for Shane to work there in some capacity.
Better in the long run to start your own company though, instead of buying someone else's problem.
I'd like to see Shane in aew, would be a good foundation for a good story. Even if they did an angle where he was trying to take it over.
Either that or he buys the wcw brand and starts it back up. Imagine Monday night nitro making a come back! Epic!
Wrestling is way too niche for a fourth brand. It would be smaller than TNA.

TNA has the roster to be unique and grow again now. They just need to focus on story again. AEW is super niche. TNA just need to go back to classic TNA style rather than copying AEW/indie style wrestling
@@casualtalk6512nope. TNA have made several big signings recently, after that rumour was made up. If it was being sold for the tape library to be closed down then they would not be signings on multi year deals. They have a talent share agreement now AEW is the main competition - TNA is basically ECW now and wwf had a talent share with ECW for a long time.

Shane has not been linked to any of the Vince incidents. Any partnership with Vince would potentially drag him into it. I don’t think he wants any involvement with what Vince has happening. And I think Shane is quite happy with his current life.

The problem is that if Shane went there they wouldn't have a clue what to do with him. He would get 1 initial pop, but then he'd just fizzle out in the background like every other big name they bring in. Cos they haven't got a clue how to write stories.
When you have narcissistic parents you cannot use regular logic to understand the actions of them OR their children.
If Shane acquires anything via AEW it will no way be associated with Vince.
He would do it on 'his own' and happily watch his father have all the money in the world and none of it will ever get his wrestling company back.
Vince has zero empathy and would never 'make up' with Shane in order to stick it to someone else, it wouldnt be authentic ...likely why Shane took his space to begin with.
If Shane wanted to have something his family is proud of and untarnished by Vince, he could do it - but Vince is far more likely to use his money and influence to compromise the competition behind the scenes no matter what organization is bought sold or created. That's just how narcs act when they aren't number one.
TK doesn't need Shane's money. if Shane goes to AEW, it will be to compete with HHH and his sister. Shane doesn't have a good relationship with Vince, and probably doesn't have a good one with HHH or Steph either

Tony wouldn’t sell AEW for 10 billion dollars. There’s no amount of money in the world that’d make Tony give up booking his own promotion.
Vince McMahon is in his 70’s and extremely wealthy after a lifetime of building a business and being constantly stressed. This is the time to finally enjoy life and fortune without the stress. Besides, Vince still has some legal issues hanging over his head and would have an uphill battle getting advertisers for any business venture. He is toxic at this point, but he has enough FU money not to have to work or worry about anyone controlling his business destiny.
The decision has to be made by tk's father only then the sale is possible. His father admires the mcmahons so he could sell it to shane by doing so shane as a man continues the mcmahon wrestling bloodline. They could start a new wrestling company aswell but where will they get the roster for it they have to start from zero. Right now the biggest signings are in wwe and aew. You think an 80 year vkm and shane in his middle age will have the motivation to find and rebuild from nothing again i dont think so. Also gives McMahon the nfl connections. This is like a Saudi deal at home.
First of all, Tony will never ever sell that company! He would close it down before anybody would own it but him because he’s a nerd like that so let’s get that out of ppls heads! He will be more than happy to go down with the ship when it goes down! that’s if it goes down who knows it’s the wrestling business it can change overnight!!! he probably would be on top of the world if he had someone in there that he would listen to yeah not WWE top but on top! But he’s a need who thinks he can do it alone lol! Only good thing bout that company is the men and women get fat checks to do what they love! And I’m not a WWE guy. I’m just speaking the truth. Well why did Vince buy WCW the only way I see TVs in TNT keeping the contract of aew is because he's going to sell it to Vince and that would be a miracle cuz Vince knows how to run wrestling company the Khan family does not
Only way AEW will be a good wrestling show Tony Clown would have to just fund the show stay off camera let someone else be the face of the company hire a team of writers that works together with few bookers get rid of 80% the roster the ones we never see
It's a good point you made here about releasing the unused talents. Look I don't like people losing their jobs but let's face it wrestling isn't like other 9-5's, it's a privileged position and it's the right business move to get rid of un/underused wrestlers unless you're Tony Khan who's here to make friends and have it as a hobby. This company needs a real boss first and then we can expect things to go in right direction.
I don't watch their product and I don't like Tony Khan, but I don't want them to go out of business tbh, it's always cool to have other alternatives and more importantly a real competition to WWE which at the moment they clearly aren't.

100% agree everyone is bored with Tony. Business wise he should get someone else in to write and book and character wise it would be better for him to be out of it for 6 months to a year then come back in some big story angle, like someone like injuring him and then he comes back as a masked guy messing things up for them

If Shane and Vince were to get back at the Levesque's, they would eye starting a new company or just buy TNA etc. Shane working for/with TK doesn't make a lot of sense to me either but then again it's professional wrestling we are talking about, nothing is impossible!

@@koolgadgetor they'll keep it just as it is. I think they will let tna run as its own company. Nxt is a successful brand in wwe I don't think they will end it unless it was a failure. They will buy tna but let things be as it is it will be like a wwe show operating externally I think maybe as in they can continue to have their own creative and management as they do.

I really liked aew at the start. The first double or nothing was epic. But it's just a bit of a mess and hard to get into for me now. Most matches are just constant high flying spots. Just don't seem to be any good story's and also have a million belts.
I can't believe I'm saying it but, if love to see cornett, bischoff or russo in there for 6 months writing the stories and booking. It would probably be alot better.
I really want to like aew like I did that first show. MJF is one of the best wrestlers out now, best promos and personality, really hope they make the most of him. Defo could be like a stone cold for them.
