Wow amazing I think I have 2 terracotta pots. This will be my go to if mold occurs. By the way not to be critical but your title spells mold “mould” is that another way of spelling it?
I have checked the spelling now. In American English they drop the 'u', but in British English we keep it. I guess it's like colour/color or humour/humor. I'm sure it's just to confuse us😒😏
I’ve a funny story to tell 😅 In Thailand, long back in the past or nowadays in countryside, people keep water in clay pots and leave the green mold sticking around outside as they keep water cold…
That is so interesting. I wonder if the mould is beneficial to the plants then, if it keeps the roots cool in hot weather...Not that we have had that much hot weather here.
@@backyardsnackyard Maybe not for the cold countries 😅 Thailand is hot and humid so everywhere is green (both trees and mold 😅🙏) Now it’s worse with rainy season.
I must admit I haven't used anything like that. The only plants that I find are real pest magnets are overwintering Chilli plants. I think our home might just be too cold for them during winter as they tend to get really weak and them covered in bugs.

Don’t forget systemic granular to kill pests 3 weeks prior to bringing inside.
