My sks did not wheelie from the factory. This is with proper belt engagement, soft rear track shock and stiff front track shock. Had to mount skid in lower hole and now it walks. Installed an anti stab kit to prevent rail stab.
Got same similar setup on my XM, went with the stg 3 in front, I had some issues like the wiper seal caps on the fronts came loose and were squealing also the midshock spring was rubbing on the body, submitted a warranty claim never got any news, said screw it and put a protector on my mid shock and lock tight on front wiper seal cap bolts. Love the performance tho they adjust very well a few clicks is noticeable, soak up big hits and deep whoops. love them . my experience with customer service tho was poor.
I had that same bolt size problem on the belt tensioner on my Chevy Silverado. 15 mm was a crappy fit, 14 was too small, and none of the standard wrenches would fit right.
LOL I had the same problem with wrench sizes on my '14 XM Ski doo. it was like bolt head was metric and nut was sae or vice versa nothing seemed right. I was getting so confused.
I am curious why the rear/rear shock reservoir is facing the bottom instead of up high? I seen a couple videos and you did the same on both of them. Is there a benefit to this? I have heard that the reservoir is designed to hold the nitrogen which is lighter than oil so it should be always higher than the shock body.
Hope they work well Louie, I literally just ordered my stage 4's last night for the 850. Came on to check my subscriptions and what do ya know Louie just got a pair too! Should be a big uprgrade!
Is there any preformance mods I can do to an older 1994 sled? It's an artic cat 580 ext its quick but I would like to go 100 or close to it without blowing up my pistons.
My bottom mount on my assault wore the egg shape hole in the rail that you mentioned Can i weld it and drill it out. I realize its aluminum and have the means to do it. Just wondering if thats something you have done before.
can i plz have or purchase them shocks u removed...i mostly in need of a rear rear shock....i ride a 2007 arctic cat M8 m-series efi 141...bvut moded to a 153....? my fox shock just dropped and believe its a seal
You put the spring washer on the wrong side Louie! 17:39 correct 19:14 swapped. The spring might put gouges in your bushing.

you should come out for a ride to Cochrane Ontario
Curious to see how they ride. I have the same sled and will be doing the same suspension upgrade. Stock ones were terrible!!

Did it feel LIGHTER after the complete suspension mod?
do you play on making a trip out to camp any time soon love the vids
Really enjoy your videos man super cool good job dude
You guys should make a sled trip to Labrador
The “little mounting things” are called brackets.... at least that’s what I call them👍🏻

i guess it's quite off topic but do anyone know a good website to watch newly released series online?
@Simon Kellen flixportal :P
@Fabian Allan thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D I really appreciate it !!
@Simon Kellen You are welcome :)
*Installs new suspension*. "Let's see how it sounds". *Starts snowmobile* Since when did suspension make noise?😂
Ok
Don't you like the sound of your sled?
I have Elka 4's on my sled. Your rebound adjusters on the fronts seem to be missing the knobs, or did you remove them purposefully?

You made it a lot harder then it had to be to take that's bolt out
Excellent video!

bill martin you could still it out and put a filler in. It'll be hard to drill out if you weld it....but would probably work
Louis are you regretting not getting a RMK assault or SKS for Ontario off trail riding?
I have a RMK Assault 16 and I wish I bought a PRO!
Anyone know how to not blow so many belts. i have an 03 polaris xc 500
Make sure your clutches are aligned first if you're blowing belts.
i see lots of comments here asking questions and yet never any answers..

I believe he isn't running carbides for off trail use. More of a ski handling guide. Added width for floatation in the pow too I suppose.
