    Hallelujah, no more days of 4 sprocket drivers and threaded cross shaft that loved to fuse to the mounting bolts and spin the whole shaft! Great information, thanks gents!

    I made my "prop rod" that goes thru the steering post out of standard 1/2 threaded end plumbing pipe and a 1/2 in. Black Iron Mini Flange threaded base to go against the floor that I bought at Home Depot. Cost me about 12 bucks. Works perfectly!

    I've got a snow check on the way that I want to have the shocks gone through before the season, what's the turnaround time looking like?

    • @JESSEJAMES322

      once they get to Bruce only a few days and they are headed back your way. he knows the seasons are short so he gets them done and right back to you!

    Are you taking the the pressure off of the skid by loosening the back adjuster bolts? It looked like the bolt was backed way off on the skid that went back in. Track has to be aligned and adjusted after taking it out anyway so I would think that would just make it easier.

    • @JESSEJAMES322
      @JESSEJAMES322 9 місяців тому

      correct. with a new stiff track It is much easier to loosen the rear axle and slide It forward. once the track is broken in its pretty easy to do It without loosening them!

      torsion springs have alot of mikes/kms on them. a spring can only come back so many times. im sure new torsion springs would help

    Has Bruce ever added extra idler wheels to the 136 XCR where the rails tip to help with slider wear? Velocity sled performance has a kit.

      @@JESSEJAMES322 I had a hell of a time getting some of the bolts out of the front shock. Even undoing the limiter strap, it still was under compression so the bolts didn’t want to come out. I’ll probably pull the skid when putting them back on to save some headache. I had Wenzlaff Performance rebuild them in Stevens Point, WI.

    Is it normal for there to be play in the lower bushing of the shock pivot arm? I noticed the disassembled bench example was kind of rattling and mine is the same. To be clear I’m referring to the piece that you said you learned something new between 129/137. Thanks in advance
