Omg, when the "add" started I skipped it right away but I just paused my video and it took me a second to realize what was happening so I un-paused it and watched the whole thing. If I read the signs as soon as it started then I wouldn't have skipped it but that was really cleaver!

I have to say that the people chewing gum had more inviting facial expressions, as in they were slightly smiling as opposed to the people who were not chewing gum. The latter group seemed to get into whatever the character indicated by the participants.

Aditionaly the Face movement was without emotions (like cold) on the left one and the right one smiled and had movement. Not a realistic test but a good advertisement. Manipulated to get the right outcome :)
MISTAKE IN THAT SECOND AD: the hypnotist was telling us to skip the ad not sleep. So when he disappears why r the droids sleeping? That's actually saying that the phones don't do what u tell them to do. Technicalities fam. Technicalities.

Well, the ad is trying to sell the gum so this obviously biased and not very accurate, but I think what the ad is trying suggest is that although in some countries (like Argentina, where the ad is aimed) chewing gum is frowned upon by etiquette guides, the findings seemed to show that it may make people seem more approachable. The people who weren't chewing gum looked very serious and cold, while the ones chewing looked more casual and down-to-earth. Again, this isn't concrete study, and the questions asked where biased in a way that made the gum chewer seem more favourable to incite you to buy their product.
