    it's an eyecatcher for sure - have you tested it? does the knife compete with the others?
    btw - q about D2: how sensitive to rust is the steel?

      I planned to do some chopping with it, but haven't had the opportunity because of the snowy weather...
      It is not classified as a stainless steel. But it is rust resistant.

    I love the knife 🔪 only thing I'd change is with the length of the blade id like to see a seriated section.
    Or drop about an inch off, so roughly a 3" blade.
    But I know im not the norm so I cant be to picky 😉

      I can see how a half serrated blade would be convenient

    I roll with a Morakniv Garberg which is excellent and is like 9 dollars more than this knife. Not for sure how I feel about an OLight knife to be honest. I'm guessing it's made in China with Chinese steel. Not hating on your review but I'm kind of paranoid about my survival options. Now I will say that the sheath with the Garberg leaves a little to be desired so I had a custom sheath made in England. Take care bro. (My bad I just checked on Amazon and the Garberg is actually cheaper right now, Peace)

      I would have to assume that everything in this knife is sourced and made in China.
      Morakniv makes some nice and simple blades.

      @@FittoSurvive I like a Scandi grind blade. To me a knife is a knife and they're about cutting so, although opening a can of peas would wreak havoc on a Scandi edge, I can just carry a P38 on me for that. On top of that it's much easier to bring back an edge on a Scandinavian grind BUT a Chinese knife in the pocket when you need it is better than a $500 dollar custom in the drawer at home.

      There is always a Mora to fit Your requested size and budget. If Olight was more thoughtful they should include a flashlight holder to attach on the sheet, just for one of their smaller flashlights as an backup to Your other 1st line lightsource.

      @@FittoSurvive Try to make a Kydex holder for Your Improved SAK those without pocket clip, the SAK are destined to go to the bottom of Your pocket, getting hard to get and getting scratched by keys coins or a hard case card holder/ moneyclip. Making holes along the sides for adding other things in kydex, Firesteel, flashlight, pepper spray, keyholder......

    I have 3 belts and the sheath doesn't fit on any of them can you tell me why

    • @FittoSurvive
      @FittoSurvive  Рік тому +1

      I am supposing that your belts are too wide. On the latching part of the sheath you can see 2 "stoppers" and several holes that they can be fit into. With a tool of some kind push on the part of the stopper that is inserted into the latch and remove it. That will give you more space to fit on your belt.
      Hope that helps.
      Merry Christmas.
