Kate only needed him when she saw jack with another girl, I believe that Sawyer did actually like her but on Kate’s part Jack was the one she truly loved. But Juliet and James they were amazing
Yes! I used to like sawyer and kate but the moment sawyer and juliet had their first conversation I started shipping them. They just had such good banter and conversation james and kate never had
When the bomb went off at the end of S5, nothing seemed to have changed, i.e. they didn`t change the past as they wanted to. So Juliet was dying in Sawyer´s arms. She kept saying ¨it worked¨, so Sawyer thought she was delirious. But now we know that that moment created an "alternative universe" aka Purgatory where the Island survivors were able to relive their lives, repent for their past sins or fix them, re-meet each other all over again and live on together. When Juliet died, she entered this Alternative universe. She was joined there by everyone else who died in the real world at one point or another.
@Laila Barbosa you are spot on !! That is why he fell really in love with Juliette because for 3 years they were together and he knew that was pure love , he always knew she used him when jack treated her bad , he told her in that scene when they were in dharma and Locke kicked her out , and she ran to his bed and the next morning sawyer told her , yes leave go back to jack and once he rejects u you will come right back to my bed , that’s when she slapped him cause she knew he was right , so yes she never loved him , she used him , her character was annoying So when he was with Juliette for 3 years he knew true love then he loses her in such a sad way , so there u go that is why this scene is powerful ...

I think this scene is special among the other remember scenes, because James and Juliet had the longest "island romance" of them all. I mean, they lived together in the island as a couple for about three years and everything was just fine; then Juliet died in James's arms despite all his effort to save her life. James and Juliet also met each other in the island. To see they reunite is really touching.
One of the greatest and complicated love stories in television! Juliet was someone whom everyone trusted and relied on over everything else. James was a killer and a criminal who conned people for living. When James met Juliet, he saw instantly that there was something different about her, something that shook his core. She was completely stoic and unreadable which only made him even more attracted to her. He realized very quickly that she's his match. But she wasn't reaching out to him like he was reaching out to her. Despite her obvious attraction to him, she was very defiant with him and kept him at safe distance. Knowing she was attracted to a murderer terrified her. Having been married to a abusive man before, the idea of being in a relationship with a violent man disgusted her. She saw getting into a relationship with James dangerous. But deep down it was safer for her to think of him as a bad guy rather than as someone who's a decent man. What's also great about Juliet and Sawyer is that it's not just that she made him a better person but he changed her too. Sawyer made Juliet question her life and her beliefs. He surprises and challenges her. She gave up on her last chance to leave the island for him. Those two stayed together and had each others backs until very end and beyond that. Not even death could separate them. Their love goes beyond anything that's normal. It goes beyond life and death.
I can not speak English. I'm sorry. Since I met LOST at a rental store when I was 13 years old, it has become one of my favorite overseas dramas even now. ♡♡
In my opinion if you like the ending of lost depends on how you watched the show. If you were someone who loved the mysteries of the show the ending is quite a letdown. Many of the mysteries are left unsolved or have a very rushed/unbelievable explanation. However, if you loved the characters of the show, the ending is almost perfect. Not quite perfect, things like Mr. Eko not being seen again or Michael not getting his redemption (I know a lot of people hate his character after what he did in season 2 but he basically had to make a choice between a group of people he had known for like a month or his child. Pretty sure most anyone in that situation is going to pick their child. And he did go back and try to help them, without Michael, they likely would have died on the freighter when the bomb went off.) but almost every other character gets a satisfying conclusion. For me personally, I always cared more about the characters than the mysteries of the island, I wanted to learn more about them and wanted them to become better people. So while I think the ending is pretty great, I can understand why it bothered so many people. Sorry for this novel of a comment
Sad that they ALL died. But they met in Purgatory all over again -- an alternate reality between death and afterlife where everyone would meet again as they were supposed to.
