The monkeys from the Witch doctors are beaten faster if you use boomerangs (they can hit the monkey sitting on a branch above you). Awesome game, very lush graphics, great adventure. Even though I played it thousand times, I still have a lot of fun playing it again and again.
After 20 years i finally see the ending... Thank you
I remember playing the NES version when I was a kid... I never made it past Baloo though. Too tricky for my baby self.
Then I switched to playing Castlevania and never made it past Death... good times.
At least the Genesis soundtrack still rocks when it comes to Disney titles.

Almost 10 years later, UA-cam recommends this to me. I guess to show these videos have been going on for so long?
I have an old gaming magazine that pit the gameplay of the Sega Genesis version against the SNES and they said that the Genesis version was better. Mainly with the health gauge. The SNES had 3 hearts which means you get hit 3 times and it's over. The Genesis has his head and it takes a little of the color away but it takes more than 3 hits to kill Mowgli.
Snes had 4 hearts not three. ARE.U EVEN LOOKING??
@@loutrenajackson5550 its been seven years. I found the magazine and I was off by one. It still praises the Genesis version with that. They even called it more frustrating.

Was Shere Khan really that easy to defeat? Seems underwhelming for a final boss.
Depends. Sometimes the platforms will fall too quick or either the fireballs/roar can be spammed. At other times he's simple.
And short and simple too... I hoped there would've been more phases like in Aladdin.

I was like, “why is Kaa so tough a fight if he’s the first boss?” I mean his attacks both track you and are really fast…
I always felt like Kaa was supposed to be the final boss but they programmed the game incorrectly.

Шер-Хан лёгкий глвварь? Отнюдь, тут всё зависит от удачи и ловкости: и с врагом борешься, и под ноги надо смотреть: неаккуратный прыжок - и всё, досрочная потеря жизни. А если злобный тигр начнёт вовсю плевать дымовыми кольцами - пиши пропало. Помню, как играл на эмуляторе, и кучу жизней слил на Шер-Хане.
Особенно тяжело одолеть злого тигра на высокой сложности.

Вот DOS-овская версия игры "Джангл бук" мне гораздо больше нравиться, чем Сеговская. В Сеговской версии мне не нравиться музыкальное оформление, потому что музыку в боссах взяли с 9-го уровня. Конечно же, в игра "Jungle Book" есть 10 уровней, и в конце каждого чётного уровня (за исключением 4-го) есть босс. В конце 4-го уровня есть т.н. шуточный босс - медведь Балу, который швыряет бонусами. В конце нечётного уровня надо отыскать пантеру Багиру.

Why putting the good guys as bosses though,i think louie wasn't in the baddies list! Well better off this than have a boss fight dance off disney style i believe what can i say! It is a jungle book made in the sega arcade ways and looks awesomely awesome to say the least and you enjoying it hopefully as much as i do!
