I have been to a couple of these towns a couple of times. They keep getting more and more charming. I live vicariously thru you as my wife is no longer able to travel. But we sure had fun in this part of the Gulf Coast when we could!

@@GulfCoastGirl 2nd video of yours that I've watched today. I'm a Tampa native, operating room nurse (traveler) who's in Fargo, ND until mid April. I've been to every single one of these towns. I left Pcola in 2016 and am honestly about to the point of crying because of how homesick I am becoming. My gf I don't think wants to go that far south, being from WA state. But it's changed and is so much busier now and expensive. Would LOVE to find a home down there. Would also love to do nursing part time and get into real estate (former FSU finance major). Love your vids.

It is getting busier but Pcola is still better than most I feel with the exception of Blue Angels weekend and maybe Mardi Gras, I fell in love ❤️ good luck to you with whatever you do!

We love Destin and 30A! We just returned from a week in Destin and will go back in October to celebrate my 60th birthday. Each time we try to see a different area and do different things. The possibilities are endless! This past trip we brought our bikes and rode from Grayton Beach to Rosemary Beach and back. It took us about 3 hours round trip, stopping to walk around Rosemary Beach a bit. It was so fun! We haven’t biked much in the past few years, but that 20 miles in Florida on flat land was much easier than 5 miles in hilly Missouri 😂😂. We were somewhat disappointed that The Hub didn’t have as much going on as what we’d seen advertised in the past. Maybe it just hadn’t gotten going for the summer. We spoke with a bartender there and he said they don’t have as many food options as they used to, and no food trucks. Any insight on that?
This is half a tour. Why do just stop going west at literally the intersection of 30a and co rd 283?
That is a fair criticism. My past tours include more of the western side.
Can u do day trips to 30a ?

Absolutely! So lovely. Parking is available for sure and there's coffee shops, etc. the whole way.
Pretty cool, lived in the area for years. I must say you missed the best part of Grayton Beach though. The Red Bar and Chiringo in Old Grayton. You were definitely down there in the late fall or "Winter." Good time of year to be there.
The Red Bar is like nowhere else--a true Gulf Coast classic! Trying to find a parking spot for that, however.... ;)

Met some friends in the pool in Kissimmee today. We are staying in this area for a couple more months but they are heading your way to Destin. Looks like a beautiful area but they were bummed with the projected temps for February.🐸
Well that's fun! February can be one way or the other for sure, April is one of my favorite months!

@@GulfCoastGirl I actually haven’t been there since Hurricane Michael in 2018 so the prices I experienced were far less than today. I can’t imagine what a burger goes for today on 30A. But they are the most beautiful beaches in the world and the laid back atmosphere is to die for. Our beach house was sitting so that we got sunrise and sunset on the water. It was magical.

Hi @gulfcoastgirl We are deciding between Gulf Shores area or near Destin area. (Pensacola, Miramar, Rosemary, Navarre Beaches) Are they all similar with the clear green water & white sand? We usually go to Destin, but trying to save money. We re taking our sons age 16-24 year old and want it to be beautiful & fun. Needing advice on top 2 areas. Thanks!
Oh wow!! That's awesome you'll have a lovely time anywhere on the gulf coast!! I personally think Destin and 30A are very busy with tourists in the spring and summer, less so in Navarre and Pensacola Beach, Gulf Shore is busy but goes a long ways so might not feel so much. They all share the same magical white soft sand with that beautiful water as long as no tropical storm stirs things up. Pensacola has a large free parking lot at their public beach and plenty of restaurants and bars and shopping withing walking distance, Navarre has a few restaurants it also has free parking and a lot, can be a challenge getting over the bridge... is slow when busy.. Gulf shores is hard to find public beach to park for free, expect to pay but also has plenty shops and restaurants, and lots of things like mini golf arcades sprinkled throughout which is similar to destin which has public no pay parking multiple lots and spread out, there is usually one way in and out and can cause you to wait to get out or pass through, they have restaurants and shops but they are in the greater area its larger than it looks, andnot necessarily on the beach with a few exceptions of great restaurants, they have lots of fun family activities too dolphin cruises, mini golf, water park, a great shopping mall and shops/restaurants in Harborwalk which is very cool too. 30A is great if you are planning to bike it, trails the whole way and its a fun way to avoid the slow busy traffic, some public beaches and each town has its own special charm, Rosemary is so appealing to me with the way it looks, but how can you hobestly go wrong! I love them all seriously they are great! I live near Pensacola Beach so probably my favorite they have fun family stuff too! Have a great trip filled with forever memories!!

Why is every place almost abonded?
I like to go off season so it's not so busy and to avoid taking video of people if I can. But it gets super packed in summer and spring break.

Hey thanks for the comment! I love this area so much and just want to share it all!! For equipment, I just use my phone s22+. I always use a gimball and voice over at home with a shure mic and filter

Where is the public parking located?
It's behind the Duckies Store on the North side of 30A, there is public parking just weekends its busy and I had to drive around to find a spot, I wish it was a little easier or we could park blocks away on the street because I don't mind the walk in too.

I just the map and info online at Homeowner's Collection Vacation Rentals:
Started on April 19, 2021, now there's paid parking in Seaside, available on Smolian Circle between 9 am and 9 pm - with no time restrictions!
You take Quincy Circle to find the paid parking.
And the does show it is Behind Duckies.
There is a Free Shuttle that comes about every 15 minutes from 6 am until midnight.
The shuttle ride into downtown Seaside takes about 15 minutes and offers a lovely view of Western Lake as you cross it, shuttling through the heart of Grayton Beach State Park.
By guest do you mean someone staying in any of the hotels or rentals, or do you mean the guest of a homeowner?
If you rent or are staying with someone you should be able to use beach access. Have a lovely time!

Great post. It's important to know how well the home solar works here on 30A. We power the home, EV, golf carts, and all your gear. Remember, electric bills are just like renting your electricity. Renting is never as good as owning. Nice video.
