HTC E5: Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park

In September we attended the fifth annual Eastern Hiker Trailer Campout (HTC-E5) at Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park in Burkesville, Kentucky. Over 200 Hiker owners showed off 95 rigs during the three-day event. It was a great opportunity to see the modifications and personalization that make each trailer unique.
We're grateful to our hosts Matt and Wendy Dewitt of MDWAdventures on UA-cam and their tireless team; Gregg, Sarah, Dwayne, and Theresa, for planning a fun and memorable event. Special thanks go to Bob Bosar, President of Hiker Trailers, and his team, for hosting a pancake breakfast for the campers.
HTC-E5 was a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and spend time doing what we love. We've already booked our spot for HTC-E6, which will be held at Beech Fork State Park in our home state of West Virginia.

Awesome video! I didn’t realize you guys had a channel until we saw Matt and Wendy’s 3rd Hiker tour video. We met you at HTCE5. Our Hiker was the bright blue named Mitty. We also stopped at Buc-ees on the way down and back. We will see you again at HTCE6. We’ll be in 182.😊Brian and Cathy

Good job, we are new hiker owners (1 month) and enjoy watching all the hiker trailer video’s. We have reservations for HTC-E6 in your beautiful state of WV in September 2024. We look forward to seeing all the gang together. By the way, it’s state law that you have to stop at Buccees in Richmond exit 83 when you’re traveling up or down I-75. 😂
