You have just Completely Blew My Mind with THIS 4:25. Compared to the handful of other ways that I have seen this done, this is BY FAR the easiest and quickest!!! And Cleverest! #GreatGreatJob
pixelmator pro can edit film now, i still waiting for affinity add timeline for designer or photo...and affinity 2.0 the separate mode please give it back to mac OS user...Serif, Don't make progress and then regress.

Affinity is currently a software that many people are optimistic about. If he can add a timeline like pixelmator pro, it will definitely attract other people who have not purchased his software. @@monstarboo4546 Sorry but I still disagree, this is graphics software, not a video editing suite. There are more powerful options to do that both paid and free. If this goes off track it will lose customers, best they create a new app if you believe they can deliver a video editor the likes of Da Vinci etc. Apps that try to be all in one, usually don't fare as well as their original proprietary purpose. And that's why Affinity is so good and so better priced than the opposition for what it does.
Less than 2 minutes into the video and my annoyance with Affinity has been envoked. When selecting a font, the Mac OS has a huge dropdown view. Sadly windows users get a crappy view of around 12 if we're lucky.
Adding a line , then erasing and clipping to the letter is a fantastic move. Thank you for sharing this!

Can you make the colorful 3d-like lines in the background on affinity as well? If ever, how?
ofc you can, cant tell you exactly how though. probably create the lines solid color first, then use masks or lines to add additional colors
they should do a tutorial on it then, cause to me it smells like the blend tool from illustrator
I don't know why I didn't ever think of or know about using the erase blend mode like that. lol.

Why not choose Davinci Resolve at that point? It's extremely capable, easy to learn, FREE tiered and widely used in cinema.
