I know, I built that sim pit and made lots of vids/streams from it, then took it apart to move it to a new room in the basement and was going to rebuild it even better. However, this yoke idea came up and I've spent the last year on it now. When things settle down I'll work on a new pit and get back to creating more content around it. I do miss it for sure!
jezzz im jealous of your setup, great channel, like i said on the previous msg, im glad i found your channel, the music works perfectly, THANK YOU SIR. Portugal-Lisbon
Right on dude, awesome! Thanks for stopping by! In a bit a hiatus right now with flight vids, but that's because I'm fully redesigning the home cockpit! Hoping in the next few months to begin releasing some workshop/build vids for it, and then eventually get back to the home cockpit flight vids too! Hope you'll stick around!🤘
So here was the process I used to create that: First I went through a bunch of C700 checklists...ones from the sim, real world ones, etc, and then created my own list of items. Then, I typed them all out and then put them through an AI text to speech generator and recorded each one. From there, I went into my stream deck and created a checklist page that categorized them all (cockpit, engine, shutdown, etc) and then created a button for each item on the stream deck that when pressed would trigger the sound recording for that item. Hope that helps!🤘@@ClearThoughtsRadio
@@skytationThat’s what I thought you did. I actually started doing the same thing! What a long process! I have it where the checklist goes green when pressed but it stays that way. Any way you found out how to make the button change back?
Nice, yeah I had mine go to a checkmark image. I just cleared mine by pressing the button again and it goes back, but there may be automated ways to do it after a certain amount of time has passed, I didn't look into it too much further. I was just ok with pushing mine again to reset it back to normal/unchecked.@@ClearThoughtsRadio
im so glad i found your channel, subscribed imagine 15 years ago you could say this was real and everyone would believe it, you just needed to add some shake effect to the cameras, we came a long way, Sims these days are the real thing.
Yep, v2 of the cockpit will feature fully DIY yokes I’m currently designing that’ll be more scale to the Longitude and that will also be linked and move together🤘
Well assuming nothing has changed (it's been over a year now since this cockpit has been put together haha) I did it using the stream deck plus and Axis and Ohs. You have to set up Axis and Ohs plugins with the stream deck, then once you get that all set up you go into the stream deck app, select one of the rotary encoders, and then give it a left/right turn H event using "AS3000_TSC_Vertical_2_Joystick_INC" and "AS3000_TSC_Vertical_2_Joystick_DEC". Again, this is assuming nothing has changed in the past year with the MSFS 2020 event names, and more importantly the Axis and Ohs software.
Hi, thanks! I just clipped out the front of the cockpit towards the nose until it was no longer visible. You need to have a livery with collision borders removed, though.... or you can edit the core camera config file to change the settings so it'll change the camera location. There's lots of vids on UA-cam showing how to do that I believe.
Hello, first of all I have to say that your homecockpit is just great. But I'm interested in one thing, how did you make the window frames left side and right side window? I mean the ones that are slightly slanted, is that filled? Thanks for the info...really outstanding....
The bezels are 3D printed. The panel itself is 1/2” MDF, and then I designed the window frame/bezels in fusion 360 and printed them out in parts, then glued them all together inside an opening I cut in the mdf. Then just filled all the seams, sanded, and painted so it looked like one unit. I have the print files for the window frame on my discord.🤘
Pretty cool and smooth flight, like the home made cockpit and also liked the music that was played well done! Will be back for more.
Awesome, thanks dude🤘
You need to post more brother. Very Fun flight, i ended up watching all, im hyped to buy your new yoke, i really am.

Just started to get into flight sim and found your channel. Awesome content and set up! Keep them up!

Quick question, what are you using for the checklist that was talking to you? @@skytation

Welcome aboard!
Have you thought about linking your yolks with cables so that they move together?

@@skytation Awesome.. looks like a lot of fun!
43:40 How did you set the map on the MFD to zoom in and out? 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’ve been trying to find out for months! Please 🙏🏼 1:07:13

Great design. Well done.
Thanks!🤘👍
Hi! Cool channel! How did you manage to hide the cockpit on the front screen but leave the wings showing on the side windows?

Cool set up. I’m jealous.
Well if it makes you feel any better it’s in pieces right now 😂 but it’s poised to come back EVEN BETTER🤘🏻

@@skytation Thank you very much!
Well done bro! What program you use to show the flight details what we can see on the top ? Thx and greetings
Thanks dude 🤘 FlyLive Studio is the software I used for that.
Hello
Do you set the eyepoint left to ghe monitor or you let it centered ?
Thnx
was it just me but did you say FL 70 when FL begins at 18000 ft so he basically just said climb to 70000 ft
Transition altitude over there is (usually) 7000ft, so that’s where flight levels begin. Took me a second too when he first said it 😂
A good stream as always👍
🙂thanks for always stopping in and hanging out Mr. Lue!
if i won the lottery, i wouldn't tell anyone, but there would be signs
😂😂🤘
