It was nice to just clip it on, adjust the angle (that's the tricky part), and then go about your thing having both hands free. I quite enjoyed this little tool! Thanks for watching! :)
Happy (Belated) New Year to you too! I've been trying and failing to be more consistent on UA-cam, but here it is, February and I'm just now saying hi to you! Sorry about that! ;)
Super movie, good job, thanks for sharing. I really like watching new and interesting places. You have an interesting channel, so I'm staying and watching. Big like, stay connected. I’m a new subscriber
thanks for introducing "Telesin Neck Ring Review || Magnetic Neck Holder Mount for Action Cameras & Phones" very interesting product Your review was detailed and easy to understand L134
I admit I haven't used it much since I made this video - but we are soon about to embark on an epic road trip to Vancouver Island and I hope to use it then. Thanks so much for watching! :)
It is quite nice having free hands to do your activity, but with one quick glance you can make sure the camera is where it should be. I quite liked this little device! :)
I hope to use it a lot this summer on our trip to the island. As I'm the mom, I'm the one who ends up carrying the kids' stuff, so having a hands-free camera will be nice! LOL
Just got mine today bits flew across the floor and I already have accessories out. I was oh crikey what came with it. No instructions about the button at the back. But I can’t wait to use it for my paddle board or motorbike
That is really interesting. I have seen a runner use one of these and she says it helped her deter crime in NYC. But your use is probably more fun and less painful. LIKE 32. 👍👍👍
That's actually a really good idea! Like wearing a body cam for safety! I'm not sure this one would be super stable for running but same idea, I suppose! :)
if you had something elastic and big enough you could have it under your armpits and hook it behind the phone while it's mounted to add a level support that would allow for stability while doing almost anything , even running !
You can definitely record vertically. The clip that holds the camera spins and then you can tighten it at any angle. I just did horizontally because I knew I was making a video for UA-cam.
@jaywantsu 0 seconds ago I just got mine and i am only able to shoot vertically. When i attach the screw to the phone holder, unlike yours, it screws in tightly at 90° and not parallel like yours.
It worked so well for sledding! Thank you so much for sending me one to test out! If and when we go traveling, I'll definitely be taking the neck ring with me!
I wonder, if you're alone and need to get the correct angle, if you could put the Telesin in position, take a picture and see how that angle is. Adjust and retake the picture until you've got the right angle, then film away!
It was tricky to get it right, but I once I made a couple of mistakes, I figured out how to tilt it properly. The first time I filmed right up nose! LOL
I don't know, I can't find the information on that. However, it is flexible and wired, so you can alter the shape to make it slimmer or rounder to fit your neck. Maybe that's why there's no dimensions, because it is so totally adjustable?
this is a really cool accessory for POV content recording. I learned a lesson on this device which most of the users have ignored. the detachable magnetic holder has a white dot (indicator) you should always match the dot to dot. I mean match the dot on the base. If you frequently use it in wrong direction, the locking mechanism loosens over a period of time. but if you match the dots, it gives much better life of the locking mechanism.
@@DowntheWrabbitHole i can see it in your video that yours did the same thing , I might have pushed it in a little more than you . But you can see the back plate of the phone holder popped out
Excellent review, very interesting product I really like it.
This would be good for you for filming your cooking! It's totally hands free and you can adjust the tilt really easily. ;)
Cool gadget Marty! Would be useful for alot of different things.
It was nice to just clip it on, adjust the angle (that's the tricky part), and then go about your thing having both hands free. I quite enjoyed this little tool! Thanks for watching! :)
That's awesome! Looks like it passed the test with flying colors 👏
Yep! Even down that bumpy toboggan run, it stayed put and kept its angle. I'm very happy with its performance. :)
Happy New Year to You and all The Fam Marti . ❤
Happy (Belated) New Year to you too! I've been trying and failing to be more consistent on UA-cam, but here it is, February and I'm just now saying hi to you! Sorry about that! ;)
Cheers Marty
Hello! Happy New Year to you! I hope you are well! Thanks for popping by!
Happy New Year. Now this is something I could use. Thanks for sharing.
It is quite stable for something that just loops around your neck. I am very happy with it!
That's a cool little neck mount! Happy New Year to you guys!
Well, I'm a little late responding to this comment - happy SUMMER to you! LOL I hope you guys are doing great in 2023!
Awesome sledgehammered that like button sharing out full watch stay safe and blessed
You could use one for when you are in a graveyard and a ghost freaks you out - no dropping the camera as you run for your lives! ;)
Neat device! I like the hands free part of it. Your Go Pro made me chuckle. Go treat yourself!
I fiiiiiiinally bought myself an updated action camera (not a GoPro, they are crazy expensive!) I’ll be trying it out when we go to Vancouver Island.
This is a very cool device for filming with the phone. Thanks for the review. Felt like I was on the ride with you guys. It was bumpy.
It was a bit bumpy, yes! LOL But the camera held steady, which means it is a win in my books! :)
What an interesting bit of kit!
It's definitely nice to be able to be hands-free!!!
Great review my friend it looks like it's surprisingly durable . I left a big 👍21 have a fun week . 👋😎
I thought it might have a problem keeping its angle or spinning around on my neck, but it stayed in place very well!

I'm glad you enjoyed my little review. It's a neat device that I have used many times since.
Thanks for sharing.. Returning Support with Full View and Like.. Looks like a great product. Hope you and your family had a good weekend..
I have used this thing so many times since Telesin sent it to me. It really is quite handy.
Thanks for sharing the Telesin Neck Ring

@@DowntheWrabbitHole We absolutely LOVE Vancouver Island and will look forward to seeing the videos you mnake there.

Interesting - I see it can be useful 👍. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend 😀.

Some great footage there in the snow ❄️, all the best 👍
I love that sledding hill - its huge and so fast! :) Thanks for watching, my friend!

Ha ha, it does come with a lot of bits and bobs. I shoved all my extras in a baggie. I think all of the accessories work a lot like Go Pro ones.
Can you put the phone vertically?
Sure can! You can spin the phone clip any which way.
Hello, can this mount rotate the phone vertically to record video? I hope to receive an answer from you soon
Yes, it can! It's just a spin with the main clip. Easy peasy! :) I just recorded horizontally for UA-cam purposes.
Wow this is so interesting!!
It's a pretty handy tool! I'll be using this in future travel videos, if and when we ever get to go somewhere again.
what minus 40 or minus 50 WOW 🎄
Yep. Some days I wonder why I live in Canada. LOL
looks a really useful device
*full view🤖Au👍💯thumbs up*
I haven't had a reason to use it since this video, but we are soon going on a trip and I plan on taking this handy little gadget with me!
Thanks for the video!! I’m looking for instructions because the manual sucks 😅
You are welcome! I hope my fumbling instructions helped you a little bit! LOL
Oh my. I thought the camera was the holder. Ha. I was hoping for something inconspicuous
No, it’s definitely not subtle. But neither is walking around holding a camera with an outstretched arm like I usually do. LOL
Thanks for the review❤.
You are most welcome! I recently used this in Golden BC when we went zip lining and on a tree top ropes course - it worked great!
Cool gadget! Too bad I don't like things around my neck but might come in handy for other filmers
You can't really feel it, as it sits mainly on your chestplate, but I do get what you mean.
That is really interesting. I have seen a runner use one of these and she says it helped her deter crime in NYC. But your use is probably more fun and less painful. LIKE 32. 👍👍👍

Hi, can we record vertically using this phone holder neck mount or just in horizontal mode?
You can definitely record vertically. The clip that holds the camera spins and then you can tighten it at any angle. I just did horizontally because I knew I was making a video for UA-cam.

What part was magnetic?
The clip that connects the actual camera to the holder. It snaps on super tight.

You were fast! Thanks for watching! :)
New SUB!!! LOVE YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for coming to my channel! I'm so happy to have you as part of my YT community! :)
Very interesting. I have an older one but it's big & gawdy
This one felt pretty sleek. It's still obvious that you have a camera around your neck but I don't see any way around that, really.
What are the dimensions of the neck pendant?
I don't know, I can't find the information on that. However, it is flexible and wired, so you can alter the shape to make it slimmer or rounder to fit your neck. Maybe that's why there's no dimensions, because it is so totally adjustable?

I didn’t know that!!! Thanks for the awesome tip! Now I need to go look for that dot… 😃
It's dumb that when you screw the phone holder in the screw rips the whole thing apart
Mine didn’t do that. Maybe yours has a flaw? I’d contact them about that! Best of luck!
@@DowntheWrabbitHole i can see it in your video that yours did the same thing , I might have pushed it in a little more than you . But you can see the back plate of the phone holder popped out
I recognized this early and didn't force it. There's another attachment (spacer) included that you're supposed to put in between.
That a dead animal on your bed?
That's my sheepskin from Iceland.
