Double track Left and Right! Sometimes for leads or softer guitar parts I'll just chuck on a chorus pedal and stereo it out. And yes hard pan always! Atleast thats what I do

What made you switch from the HD600 to VSX and how has the experience been?
Funny story about that switch actually, when I moved to my new place I didn’t have any paneling or sound absorption up and my mixes were all out of wack for a couple weeks when I would check my low end on my speakers. One of my clients offered to get me the VSX headphones to help me out and I’ve been loving them! My process is usually do a rough mix on speakers, adjust on headphones, adjust on speakers again, then through VsX I’ll check the other rooms it has to make sure my balance is feeling right. The biggest help has been the car sim rooms to be honest. Still have my hd600s but I just use the 600 sim in the VSXs haha vsxs plus some good speakers would be a killer combo.

hey man can you share your views on vsx. is it worth the hype and what about clarity
I really like them! But they’re not super accurate to the real headphones that they try to simulate but they are perfect for checking the levels of your mixes on other speaker situations. So it’s super useful
