Debulk hair if needed with 1 guard open
1st step, guideline with zero
2nd step, guideline with .5 (no guard lever open)
3rd step, blend under guideline with zero and lever open halfway
4th step, next guideline with 1 guard open
5th step, blend under with 1/2 guard open to 3/4 and no guard lever open to 3/4
6th step, next guideline with 2 guard open
7th step, blend under with 1 1/2 guard open to 3/4
8th step, finish blending with 1 guard open to 3/4
9th step, blend up with 3 guard open

This is really helpful, tackling one guideline at a time is easier to follow thru while doing it in real-time. Really appreciate the videos you made brother, i referenced at least 7 of them to get a good idea, before starting out to try it, and it works. Just to add that the entire haircut didn't even require scissors, super convenient.

Such a good Video! But when you fade a guide line with the lever CLOSE, do you just cut exact on the line and the further you open the lever the further up you can go? (just not as high as the next guideline above, of course). Would be a big helf, coz im always struggeling with a line that i cant fade
I just bought these clippers a month ago instead of the Wahl Magic clips and they cut really really well. I have yet to cut with the Magic Clips clippers so I'm gonna assume they are still better based on all the barbers I follow but these Limurals are still close to perfect

So when using the 1 1/2 guard to soften up that line. Why switch to the 1 guard at 3/4. Could you just adjust the lever on the 1 1/2 guard to remove the line? Just wondering. Love your videos.

I never cut my own hair with scissors I feel for a self cut it’s easier to use guards. I’ll try and practice and maybe see if I can show how to use scissors on a self cut bro
