Like usually when we watch some crime thrillers ,there's always some reason for violence & they usually are from the shady hoods, thats pretty similar in real life too as far as I have seen .
But this is just PURE EVIL ,in the cases mentioned they didnt even have a reason to do any of these.
-There was no religious conflict
-No attitude problems on behalf of victims
-No past grudges
-No love triangle drama bullshit
-The predators didnt belong to poor societal & financial background

I am an Indian and I am pretty sure , if any of the cases happened here then the whole city would have came out with candles,marching towards the adminstrative office and the predator's house. They would have atleast gotten the jail of 5 years unless some politics involved and most of the schools must have taken action .

I was bullied in school. Not beaten, just psychologically. Whenever I complained to the teachers, they've sent ME to the school psychologist. Whenever I complained to my parents, they've told me to just tough it out. Make it make sense.

Everyone is being controlled including their perception of you and they can be made to not even notice what people are doing to you and focus on their perception that they are being sent. Your parents were also set up to have this belief at the specific time you were made to ask. The suffering is real. Even if it is a setup
I once complained to a playground guard that another student was hitting me, and they said that if they punished him they'd have to punish everyone, and that was the end of it.

These bullies are more akin to budding serial killers. They sound like they lack any empathy or basic human emotions and their behaviors are massive red flags.
The glory's bullying was so gruesome that it made me curl up. Knowing that this has actually happened makes me so sad about humanity.

What infuriates me the most is that most of the time in real life, the bullies get to have their happy ending. They never face the consequences of their actions. They absolutely don't care about the trauma and the pain they've inflicted to their victims.

Yep, I think same of child abusers aswell, the victims go on to suffer for the rest of their lives, while they live good lifes. Especially the ones defended by their families. I hate it.

I know that my thoughts aren't correct, but I don't think his mother has the right to report it to the police. She, or perhaps his family, downplayed her son's reports that he was bullied, and had to deal with it himself as a man. So yeah, he took it upon himself to plan revenge. So why did she ruin his plans??
As a nurse it absolutely sickens me to my core that these criminals could even have futures in healthcare!

There is a freaking big difference between bullying and straight on assault.
I struggle to explain this even in my country where the concept of bullying is quite new.
And the repercussions on bullying are more tame that repercussions on assault.

Even to call it assault is already understating it. This is attempted homicide. They went in with the intent to murder the victim and they went in assuming that they could abuse a loophole in the justice system to get away with minor consequences at worst. They knew that their friends, family, and even the police would condone this - because that's what their culture is like. No one in their community wants to deal with this - not the parents (who are obsessed with their "family pride" and how their kids must be "the best), the teachers (who are obsessed with their "school pride" and academic results), the police (who are too incompetent and scared to deal with minors and likely see it as someone else's responsibility).
The funny thing is that if these women were just several years older, they MIGHT have been charged more severely.
It is VERY unlikely that anything about these women's abusive personalities have changed. It is VERY likely that their sadistic and abusive tendencies have worsened over time. It is VERY likely that they will encourage further abuse of other people, or commit more crimes in the future - because they live in a society that condones this sort of behavior. This society that only responds when they can't ignore the problem anymore because it looks bad for them. Hence these "bullying" cases get worse, and they will continue to get worse until enough children die or the school system collapses.
This society has no true consequences, not for the perpetrators or the authorities. It's a society that rewards criminal behavior, and it's no wonder why "vigilante justice" or "underdog" fiction is so popular in Korea. But this in turn creates a hilarious loop - because the people in real life who do fight back, the system slaps THEM down, and tells them "Why didn't you let the authorities dO ThEiR JoB?"
When a society can have no faith in its authority figures, be it teachers, parents, the justice system, the politicians, all of which have been repeatedly proven to be corrupt, then there is truly no point in trying to support the society.
Bullying is when they are under 18 years old and doing the violence. I agree with you. Change it age of assault to 13 years old and we could curb so much with the law working with the schools. Abuse too, and verbal, fear mongering, terrorizing.... kids- these things are not ok at any age.
100% I was bullied throughout elementary school and middle school in the U.S. I did not know what friendship was until high school. But I'm so grateful that I was never a victim of violence. This is assault and NOT bullying. Also, just because they are minors they should not get off, in the U.S. we have juvy - why don't they do something like that in Korea? Also, the behavior they are getting away with as minors only escalates their bullying as they grow older and become criminals or psychopaths.

This one is actually hard to hear about. Something about LITERAL children getting tortured and no adult coming for help. It's heartbreaking.
A man in Nicholasville KY attempted to poison my sister. When that did not work, he tried to kill her with a hammer. She managed to escape and get to a neighbors. She had a crushed section to her skull and a crushed throat. It took her months to recover physically. She has never recovered mentally- suffers PTSD- and has seizures due to it as well.
What happened? She was told she could not press charges beyond "domestic violence" because she lived in the same house. Because the house was his- SHE had to move, not him. In the end he got an ankle monitor and told not to do it again. A man in his 30s-40s got 6 months probation with monitoring.....
This kind of stuff is everywhere. It doesn't stop in school. It continues to adults. It is ridiculous- if you have financial status in your area- you can do whatever you want it seems.
People care less if you're a woman too. I'm not trying to say men don't deserve attention, just that women need more help with "DV"
These kids are nurtured, enabled, and protected psychopaths. These are beyond "bullying".

Listening to these stories reminds me of the James Bulger case
My close friend was a Korean who went to the Philippines to study in high school. She would always tell us how even in our poorer economic standing, her school life is more peaceful here compared to South Korea, turns out she left because of extreme bullying. She eventually chose to continue to study here until college and eventually married a fellow Korean who grew up here.
They both agreed not to let their kids study in Korea.
That just puts in to perspective how common and brutal bullying is there

Bullies in Philippines isn’t bad since you can always fight back or just isn’t really hurting you like they just think they are too good or whatever it’s pretty tame in Philippines in my experience so it’s really nice to hear someone having a good time where I live I’m not sure how I’m gonna explain it but I’m just thankful it’s not all bad here

The punishment for bullies should be harsher and more difficult, given the unimaginable trauma suffered by their victims . I had to take breaks multiple times while listening to the stories of these people because the pain they experienced was beyond imagination. I genuinely hope that no one has to endure any form of bullying, as it destroys confidence and fosters self-hatred. I don't want anyone to go through the agony of being bullied.

Not every person is same mature and there are many 14 years old, that don't know anything, it mostly depends on how you grow up.

I think I know why the punishments for the bullies are almost nonexistent. It’s because they want to have an image of “low crime rates”. That’s pretty much how a good number of countries get their “low crime rates”.

Kim Hieora the actress of Lee Sa-Ra was actually one of the bullys in real life event that took place in 2006. She was a part of a school gang called the 'big Sangji' in the a school Sangji. Dispatch, the Korean breaking news that delivers news about k pop, Korean celebs and k dramas ( technically a place for gossip ) had heard about this certain thing and so they broke into Kim Hieora's school record and reveled a lot of information about this matter. Kim Hieora had accepted the fact that she had been in the gang big sangji and even said that they would bother other younger girls in an interview, but she said that she did not hurt anyone and even regretted being a part of it. Her record also showed her having to do community service, the reason connected to the fact that Hieora's family was financially struggling, so one of her friends would go to the "bathroom", she would actually steel money from empty classes instead, she reveled that Hieora had forced her steal it, but hieora denied that and they both ended up having to do service. Later, after shooting 'the glory' Hieora called some of the girls from her school to "sincerely" apologized for bullying them, and the girls seem to have taken her apology but one of the girls refused to come, so instead Hieora talked to her over phone, and in that call she agreed to have physically bullied the girl and again apologized (you can find the transcript of that call online) the girl refused to accept her apology, to which hieora, completely not understanding the situation, said that her being young made her do all that, ( she was in 9th grade) but then later on Hieora denies all of this. That was the end of this, but sometime later in 2023 an actress was having a live interview where she answers questions from the comments and in that interview hieora askes her if she is pregnant or planning to get pregnant in 2024, to which the actress's fans immediately report her and later realize that that person was actually hieora, they then ask her this queation, and she replies saying that it was a joke.I don't know ya'll... the director, was her sure that she was the right choice, cause she got really famous after the glory.
As someone who was bullied in the US, it was nowhere near as violent and dangerous as these crimes. With my own experience I have trauma from my bullying. I seriously can’t imagine how these victims feel and we need to do something about it, now.

@@moauntain5920While I can't speak for the OP, I too experienced near constant bullying here in the US from K/1st grade all the way through 8th grade. While it mostly wasn't physical like a lot of what we just heard was, it was traumatic in it's own right. What I experienced became so bad that it was easier, it actually hurt LESS, for me to put myself down than hear it from other people. "Stupid," "Idiot," "Moron," "Four Eyes," "Gimp." Those are just a handful of things I was called on a near daily basis, and eventually would use them to refer to myself, because, as I said, it hurt less.
This was in the late 80's and 90's. I'm just about 40 now, and while I have come to learn to love myself, inasmuch as I would not change the person that I am today for anything, even if it meant going back and erasing all of the pain and hurt I've been through, I'm not "okay," now. Part of it stemmed from a physical injury that was inflicted upon me as a baby and has left me partially paralyzed. Part of it now is neurodivergence-ADHD, Executive Dysfunction, maybe ADHD dysfunction, and other similar mental issues-combined with how smart I am. I KNOW how f'd up my life is, and I am mentally incapable of forcing myself to physically change anything. It drives me nuts. I don't hate much in the world... I've actually become very serene over the last few years rather than letting anger get the better of me. It's one of the main reasons I wouldn't change anything. But the one thing I do hate is my own inability to do anything. I know what I need to do. I want to do it. I don't want to live the way I do. But no matter how strong the desire, I can't connect the processes in my brain to actually get me to DO it.
It's a journey, for me. Something that will take my entire life, and I will have good days and bad days. I just wanted to share my experience from bullying, and hopefully try to show you and others like you that it is a lifelong process and not something that someone will just "get over" and "be okay" now. I apologize if I am putting words in your mouth and speaking out of turn, and I freely admit I have no way of knowing if you meant that the way it sounded or if you meant it some other way. However, I know there are enough people in the world who DO think about it the way that it sounded that I felt like I had to say something.
Yes, the US barely has any bullies. And those who are “bullies” are not even that violent, tbh. And even outside of that, I haven’t seen any shuttles or anything. I’m really shocked tbh.
Bullying was really common in the US when I was a kid (I'm a Millenial so I can't say what it's like now) but the attacks were usually things like theft, spreading rumors to turn people against the victim, verbal abuse, and sexual harassment to "entertain" other students. It was also traumatic, but I do agree these violent cases from South Korea don't sound like "bullying" to me. Regardless of how old the perpetrators are and what their motivations are, this is physical assault and attempted murder. This shouldn't be in the same category as school kids stealing somebody else's chips or making fun of how someone dresses. This is much more serious and even though I don't think bullying as I think of it is ok, I also don't think it's a crime and I feel it's ok if it doesn't end up on permanent records because kids don't have fully developed brains and they can make mistakes. Burning the crap out of someone and scratching up her chest is not just a juvenile mistake though, that is a crime and it's a sign that the perpetrator has no empathy for other people, and the public needs to know for their safety.
This ISNT bullying. It is violent, sadistic gang activity. When I finally heard you liken it to gang activity as well close to the end of the video, it felt validating. Laws should be changed to age 8. 12 and 13 is too old by that time. They know how to shuck the system and that is so fucked up.

No bullying is harassment bullying is a crime it always is. Bullying by definition is sadistic harassing people just because they are different? Or because you are insecure? That's insane! And that's what bullying always boils down to. The extent that it goes to often causes people to dismiss little instances which lead to worse things. These stories are instances of bullying. Bullying is evil and that's what these stories show , pure fucking evil

As a victim of bullying myself, I can say that it's one of the more traumatic things that can happen to someone in their youth. it really fucked me up, and I wasn't even physically attacked or anything.
For anyone who is being bullied in any manner, I know exactly how awful you feel. Please just know that it isn't your fault at all because people can be so unfathomably cruel, and you truly deserve to be safe and respected.
I genuinely don't understand how people can be so full of hatred for others with little to no reason, even with the weak excuse of "a bad home life". Sure, some people have shitty lives, but that is absolutely no excuse to hurt others. Coming from a bad background doesn't mean that you automatically get off scot free. You have the choice of how you treat others, no matter what life you come from.
And some people, even if they come from "good" homes, are just terrible, horrible, rotten, embarrassingly pathetic excuses for human beings. Some people are just awful because they can be. My bullies were largely that latter type. They harassed and berated and stalked and threatened me because nobody was stopping them from doing so, and they were obsessed with being like that because it was fun for them to hurt me.
I can't imagine the physical and psychological pain endured by people who were physically bullied, especially those as ruthlessly assaulted as the people in this case. It breaks my heart that I'm not the only one who's been through the mental trauma, nobody else deserves the cruelty.
(Also a last little sorta funny tidbit, I cope with stuff through humor and so I really like to joke about how it's funny that all of my previous bullies but like two or three of them are nurses, cops, or military now, like it really is ironic that beligerent assholes seem to largely become one of those three things. They just love power play I guess 😉)
I guess in South Korea the fact that if the predator is under 13 means they will get away with it without any consequences, is what makes South Korean bullying cases one of the most gruesome cases.
This is why I like the k-drama "Juvenile Justice" because it's abiut a Judge who absolutely HATES juveniles who commit crimes and believe they'll get away with it all because their minors. It's a great watch if your missing the Glory!
Yes. I agree. The drama showed how the system SHOULD react to this. As much as I fallen in love with K-dramas and K-pop I can say that South Korea has some serious issues with their laws, policies, and the way they handle social issues. It has really opened my eyes to a culture across all of its sides.
The minor juvenile justice must use only for that sorry for things that they've done and remorseful..not for the ones that only sorry that they got caught.

When I came to Seattle from China I had a group of girls all the time picking on me. One day I finally got tired of the girl pulling my hair and I turned around and punched her in the face. I could not believe the reaction. The girl was on the floor crying like a baby at the sight of seeing her own nose bleed.
I have no respect for bullies. They are nothing but cowards that prey upon those they perceive are weaker than them.

I kinda have the same experience lol. there is this one boy at class behind me during middle school who always play with my chair moving it like some kind of train/car. because he kept doing this I ended up punching his nose then he cried too😂 but our math teacher suddenly came in so I got nervous but he hid the fact he was crying and none of our seat mates snitched on me. i really thought for a moment I’ll be the one accused of bullying

When I visited elementary schools in Korea I learned that they DO NOT Discipline the children. Kids can interrupt and be inappropriate and the teachers are POWERLESS to even punish them for small things IN THEIR OWN CLASSROOM. I was SHOCKED. I told the teachers about how in the USA, we can put them in the hall, take away privileges, send home notes to parents, sent them to the principal. The teachers looked so excited like that sounded so damn dreamy to them.

i dont know how i found you, but i think you are such a great story teller. i am a survivor of bullying in middle school that led me to attempt to unalive myself. when you are being bullied, the fear you experience in the moment paralyzes you. you cant run, you cant scream, you just want to disappear into thin air to escape. to this day, i lash out if i feel cornered. i fight now instead of freeze. its bad.
i think what hurts the most is hearing that the 3rd victim is doing fine after being able to cope and living a good life just to then look up recent news from her and finding out that she tragically passed away from suicide is the most gut wrenching thing i couldve read... may she rest in peace and flourish wherever she is right now

Their is something about that job occupation that attracts mean girls and bullies some of the nurses act like high school mean girls its so weird (we don't live in Korea BTW)

I very rarely cry when hearing cases but omg this had me balling. I was bullied in school (not to this extreme extent of violence) and it breaks my heart thinking about these kids and what they had to go through at such a young age from their own peers. Absolutely and utterly gut wrenching. I am so sorry to all of them. The emotional scars are life long and nobody deserves that.
I was bullied in elementary school, they didn't get in trouble for bullying but I got in trouble for defending myself; it got to the point that one day I just snapped and reacted violently, I grabbed my biggest textbook and started smacking her over the head, punching, kicking and basically anything nearby became a weapon....the only reason I snapped was not because of what they did to me but because they mentioned that they'd hurt my then baby sister (she is grown now, this was 10 years ago and 10 years ago, she was only 2years old) but my reaction of violence made her leave me alone, I am not for violence but I advocate it for self defense or defending someone you love. The parents of the bully tried to charge me for assault but the police dropped it and basically said I was defending myself. I beat her to the point where she needed stitches on her cheek, I basically ruined her face which she was so proud of before and I have no regret for what I did...she made the mistake of threatening to hurt my baby sister.

As someone who was bullied from 5th grade all the way to 11th grade, thank you so much for covering this story. This is not trauma dumping, but I just want to share my perspective. To a bully, even you breathing is annoying. I was picked on the way I look, the way I behaved, they stole my books, my valuable items. They used the excuse of hating me as a way to unite the whole class (as twisted as it sounds). I only escaped bullying because I went to study abroad and it was the best decision I could ever made. Massively improved my mental health.

The thing is that being bullied honestly changed me so much as a person (hard to trust someone, self-esteem issues) and I don't think bullies recognise the impacts of their actions on the ones being bullied.

Tbh I was a bully victim and had I not changed schools, I would've been brutally bullied just like this and it scares me how bad people can be.

In India , I remember getting bullied in 7th grade, I complained it to the class teacher and my class teacher beat the bullies so badly that they even didn’t think of bullying me again. Sometimes teachers can save you from bullying.
That’s the reason why bullying in school is so uncommon in India.
It's not "sometimes" - it's their job. Once I was so distressed from bullying I told my teacher and she would scold bullies so much they would actually live me alone. I'm not from Korea though, hearing this stories and to what degree adults don't care is infuriating... Everywhere around the world bullying exists. But the degree varies so much. In my country actually recently was a case, when physical bullying was caught on camera - girls were beating another girl. Luckily their "friend" broke apart a fight at some point. An because the video footage of it was leaked to press, society was infuriated at this incident. Everyone involved was arrested and faced charges.
I find that some teacher's are quite the bullies themselves. I've witnessed it and been a victim to...
and here in America it's a 50/50 toss-up on what the teacher will do. they'll either stop at nothing to help the student, or they'll tell them to suck it up, "man up" if it's a male student, ask a female student what she did to cause it, etc. i recoiled a bit when you said the teacher beat up the bullies, thinking about how angry i would be if a teacher assaulted my child. but then i realized if that happened, it would mean MY child WAS the bully, and that i have zero tolerance for. so if getting their ass beat by a teacher is what is needed to straighten them out, i think i might let it slide once and then take them to therapy to help them with whatever insecurity is causing them to bully in the first place

I can relate to this very well, we have teachers always on duty to look after every student, even during luch break and teacher will always warn students about not doing such a thing and it's cons too. Though bullying does exisit like making fun but it never get to the physical level because of the constant monitoring of parents and teachers and them being involved so much in your school life

I just can't believe The Glory's portrayal of bullying wasn't exaggerated. It should only remain as fiction but these dramas now make me wonder if most of their concepts are based from real life. The term bullying is so light for the gruesome actions classified as 'bullying'. I feel safe and happy that I didn't have to potentially witness this. My mother also was bullied but luckily not to this extend.

This kind of bullying shit wanted to start on me when I was in high school, and I didn't stay silent. In my family, they always taught me not to get into fights but to stand strong for myself, and my mom would beat me if she heard that I was bullied by someone and didn't react. One day, the bullying got to the point that I didn't give a shit anymore about getting quicked out of the school, I got into massive fights with the bullies (boys and girls) and I told them it was either they kill me or I kill them. I told them my mom didn't suffer to pay my school fees for a random girl or guy to shit on my head. I got punished both at school and at home, but in front of my teachers, my family kept defending me no matter what.
This is how I want to raise my future kids, we don't fight and give importance to bullies, but if it starts going far and the teachers and all who are supposed to protect you at school are not doing anything, defend yourselves and we'll talk about the rest at home.
I really hate how minors get off easy on evil crimes like this. These judges and society who accept this behavior is so out of touch with reality and are cowards. Disturbing to the core, I've never seen any type of bullying like this growing up.

The show Glory I watched with my wife, we were disturbed and it was tough to watch. But it was obvious how relative it was to parts of society.

I’m glad I watched this before “The Glory.” I was bullied in elementary school, I think this series might make my PTSD (I served 2 combat tours for the US Army) go off the charts. So sad hearing of no consequences. In America a couple of those cases would have put the bullies in Juvenile Detention, or even adult prison, for years. But America has a “school shooting” problem that is just out of control. 😢

For student 4, what pisses me off most is, THEY'RE ADULTS. You can't use the bull-ish "they're just children" mentality. They should've been thrown in jail, for twenty years, for attempted murder. I had this group of 8 girls always picking on me when I was in secondary school for months then one day I let the main girl that was always on my case have it. She never bothered me again! It happens in America too! My son was filmed while using the restroom (CSAM) and the bully sent it to many other students. I withdrew him that day and thankfully in his new school he has had no problems. It starts with the parents.

@@nubuju631 bullying isn't really benign though. lots of bullying involves physical and sexual assault and is known to cause PTSD/CPTSD. it refers just to a pattern of abuse by peers, not really the actual physical actions they take
@@hunterv9259 no you’re right. Bullying is destructive and traumatizing. It is NOT benign. But assault and mutilation and attempted murder are straight up criminal offenses and need to be discussed and treated as such. Both are bad but a distinction in levels can help society identify and deal with said crimes.
I was bullied in highschool, 2nd year. I'm the smallest in the classroom. I'm very thin, that's why they love to pick on me. I never fight back, i just sat and talk to my friends. But one time, there's this girl, she's insisting me to fight her. I'm just silent. She walks over to me and slap me and then back to her seat. I dont know what came over me, i walk over to her and slam her head onto the desk. I'm pulling her hair so hard, i scratched her face, 5 boys are holding me to let her go but I didnt. I just saw black. I slammed her head 3x, i was standing and she is just sitting. One of the boys lifted me so i kicked her in the stomach and pulled her hair even more. After that I let go and cried at my seat. She drop out, she never came to school the next day. From that day on, no one bully me again.

@@aryankarki688 I think they all deserve it. They basically act like a bystander despite them knowing that that student was being bullied to the point of torture. They didn't even try to help him cause they might think they might be the next target if they do help him. Teachers basically ignored whatever violence happens between students. What's more, they always blame the problem on the student who was being bullied.
If this happens to you and you found out that everyone, the bullies, teachers, and bystanders, lived their lives normally while you, the victim are suffering nightmares, mental/physical disabilities, or scarring for the rest of your entire life. Do you really think that victim hatred wasn't warranted?
I honestly think the revenge he planned was too light. Killing them was the easy way out for anyone. Those people won't even feel remorse.

The bullying seems as severe as portrayed in kdramas, these monsters felt that the victims have a weakness that they can take advantage of, so they snatched the opportunity to tear them to shreds. Those are not bullies, they are psychopath criminals.
I was bullied in high school and now my bully is a math professor. I don't know if she is teaching math or how to be a bully at college
And the most horrifying truth in this is that the perpetrator/bullies dont even think that they did something wrong.

Literally. Around 6~8 years ago, I had an encounter with one of my bullies. She wasn't a big one, but was an annoying one indeed, she would often call me names, make nasty lies about me and make other people physically assault me twice. You think they will forget about you when they grow up? She bullied me when I was around 10, and the reencounter was when we where 18~19. She was with her friends while I was waiting for my BF to get out of the toilet, and she just casually walked to me and called me, by my _full name._ I saw her face and had all the flashbacks when she annoyed the heck outa me, so I kept playing my game on my phone like it wasn't with me, and it gave me the shivers that she did recognize me even after all those years, with my hair with different color and length, and also with me wearing makeup, and remember my name, my friggin ass long name, _and_ the way its pronounced, because it is a pretty weird name indeed! What a psycho.
She kept calling to me like she was _sure_ I was whoever she was calling to, and with this weird smile on her face, rosy cheeks and all, like I was some good memory to remember. I just looked at her after the 7th call, and told her "pardon? I don't know who you're talking to. My name is _insert very common name here."_ She backed a little like she was unsure, and decided to wait on the corner with some of her friends while observing me. When my BF came I just walked away, but man, I don't want to see this psycho no more in my life.
And if you think this didn't affect me, this did. I refuse to get out of home now~ School is a cursed place, I'm permanently stained with bad luck thanks to it.
the 9 year old case made me so sick. it’s so unbelievable. i can’t believe she has to grow up with that trauma permanently attached her while her assaulter gets to run around free without a care in the world. i feel awful for her family as well, knowing they can’t do anything. i hope they will be able to try for that criminal to get arrested once he gets over the age of 14. i hope that little girl and her family will be able to find peace.

I remember a decade and a half ago now (it was mid teens but after middle school) we had a school assembly after a week off break because Easter or whatever, but for some reason the headmaster brought up the news that an 11-y-o boy had done that to a 7-y-o and I hope she's OK. Hopefully all her cells have replaced themselves to get traces of him physically away from her, but why would someone that young know what to do-

I can only assume he's got that same trauma, doesn't mean you should copy it!! Even if the 'good result' is someone twigs on something is very wrong in the first place and gets the boy help.
It's incredibly unjust that bullies can live their life's so freely while the victims are traumatized for life. And it doesn't even has to go as far as in these cases. "ordinary bullying" like just talking shit about others or being mean already leaves mental scars on the victim and bullies often don't even remember all the cruel stuff they did and said.
I love the glory it's such a good show I can't believe this is based off of a real story this shooks me to even think about bullying so terrible like that.
What makes my stomach drop is that some people believe The Glory, a series that literally depicts bullying for how it is, is overexaggerating the severity of bullying in South Korea. My teacher, for example, told us to write an essay. One topic was school violence in Korea and whether or not we think the media is overexaggerating. I, of course, said no and had The Glory and other posts and articles as one of my evidence. Yet my teacher still said, "I feel as though The Glory is an exaggeration. The actors were very dramatic. Also, you don't have to be burnt with a curling iron just to be classified as a victim of school violence." The first part, I don't agree with (because this video legit proves that similar things have happened in real life.) And the second part, sure, anything can be considered school violence. But I was just explaining that things can get this bad in South Korea. It's sad and heartbreaking that many people still believe that this type of bullying doesn't exist in countries like South Korea when many streets and hallways of schools here are filled with this kind of violence.

When I was in school a senior tried to bully me . he hit me and I remember clearly he threw my school bag in the gutter . I told my parents and the next day my mom got into my school bus and slapped that guy and said if you ever tough my daughter you see what will happen to you , and then the principal called my parents and my mom said nobody is touching my daughter and screwed the principal back , then that senior shifted to another school. I cannot imagine the level of bullying happening in South Korea ! It’s so heart breaking that bully’s are getting to walk away and live their life like nothing happened
My heart goes to all the victims of bullying to find strength and justice. I wish these things never to be done by nor to happen to anyone, unfortunately if so then the authorities act responsibly in such cases.

Same. I was bullied verbally socially and sometimes physically like pushing. But these cases are horrible. Those bullies are real life psychopaths. I was crying while watching this video since I felt so bad for victims. These cases sound like true crime fictional stories, but unfortunately, it's reality
I agree, it feels like the way we've been bullied seems like nothing but never forget : it's not because there is worse situation elsewhere that it diminishes or invalidates our experience.
