What’s actually obnoxious is that I’d originally intended to place gear, but I confused myself placing my hand wrong in that jug. I also tried to climb some V4 through V7 and it was not a good idea.

Depends on the kind of climbing gym, but a few good rules of climbing gym etiquette are -don’t walk under anyone while they are climbing -check to see if routes cross each other before climbing next to each other -ask before spraying beta -always be chill with the staff -when you eventually begin climbing outside always clean up when you’re done (pack it in, pack it out) The gym gets loud, people “power” scream, people cheer on others when they’re climbing ridiculous stuff, just have fun. You’re going to make an ass of yourself falling off an easy thing or doing a joke (I’ve done all of that clearly).

Next time for sure, I’m going to borrow some larger cams and show up at a purely bouldering gym at some point. The main thing is to do it when as many rental shoe people are at the gym as possible to cause the most confusion however.
