That was the bombs dropping. That was when the war started. Things to know: 1. This show is canon and takes place 9 years after the events of Fallout 4 2. They make it seem like Lucy is locked out of where her father (Kyle Maclachlan) is as she's escaping the vault, but I actually think he's the first one to escape and he was stopping her from following him, which she does anyhow. I believe HE is the one that knocked out the guy by the vault entrance. 3. The stranger by the fire (and running from Turret fire in the Sierra Mountain base with dogmeat) is named Wilzig, a mysterious researcher who probably either invented or acquired the "artifact that will change the wasteland". That is Lucy running with said artifact, dressed in black clothes later in the trailer. She probably acquires it from Wilzig, and maybe even adopts Dogmeat if Wilzig dies. 4. Walton Goggins is "the Ghoul" a bounty hunter, he will be the conduit to flashbacks before the war. My guess is his character will start off chasing Lucy, but I think he will actually join her cause by the end. 5. The BoS will be a main antagonist, and Maximus (the initiate) will have to chose between the faction he clearly idolizes and the wastelanders.
@madsquirrelmods3035 Yup :) Raul is a superb character and Danny Trejo's voice acting is just perfect I think it's Carol, who explains another consequence of nuclear war folk just do not get: cities will burn in all consuming firestorms :(
@@HanahFaye Yup :) info suggests the Ghoul character was an actor before the war, as there's a pic of him been released in a black and white TV shot possibly advertising Vault-Tec?
I'm old enough to be your mom, and I've been playing Fallout games since the first one was released (if you count Wasteland, which you should, I've been playing since the 80s), and I am so looking forward to this show. I just pray they don't screw it up.
They should have used Katy Townsend as the Vault Dweller. She's a Hollywood-caliber hottie in real life, and did the voice of "Cait" in Fallout 4 (comes from Glasgow). But then they'd have to explain how Scottish/Irish accents survived in Vault 33 for over two centuries. That was one thing about Fallout 4 that I got a kick out of- how in the world could a first-generation Irish girl exist in an apocalyptic America 200 years after the bombs fell? I'd bet me arse it was because of Bethesda. It's either that or she had the "aqua-girl" perk and and enough Nuka-Cola to swim across the Atlantic.
My first Fallout game was 3 and it was just after having lived in DC. Surreal. I'm always afraid my favorite IPs are just going to be ruined when I see these kinds of shows. Bad writing and producing have been the death of so many already. Thanks for the react. I'll check out your channel
This video popped up in my Recommended and before reading the title of it I thought you were cosplaying as Sarah Kerrigan from StarCraft, and now I cannot unsee it :o
My best guess is that the ghoul wearing the cowboy hat who was shooting up that settlement turns out to be the same guy who rode that little girl on his horse 200 years or so before, but that's just me trying to out-guess the movies. In Fallout 4, radiation made many people who were there when the bombs fell into ghouls- and they only become feral when the radiation rotted their brains enough . Hey, who doesn't love killing zombies?
It's got a good team and Todd as on hand so it's going to be fallout. It might be what some people ty about being "woke" but I'm going to watch it first and make my own opinion. The problem with halo is they didn't even bother with the source material but this show definitely looks like they are.
"Todd it's a feature not a bug Howard" Speaking of Todd, I hope when people do the reviews of this show, at least a couple of the reviews use the Little Lies song. Doesn't matter if this show ends up being the best video game adaptation of all time (honestly really stoked for it), the Little Lies song is too famously attached to Todd's projects that the song needs to be used. Plus it's a great song anyways.
Who owns it doesn’t mean as much as who makes it. Amazon has been hit and miss with some of their series but the director for this and the production studio have made some bangers in the past. Microsoft won’t have any direct hand in the making of this show.
Looks promising and woke AF so far!! So glad they went with a bad ass girl boss this time who kicks men's asses. Cause TV shows NEVER do that nowadays and so it's refreshing to FINALLY have a female lead for the first time ever. Also, for the first time ever, the producers said they are going with stories of modern social justice and social issues. That translates to the writers basically saying, "dis show gonna be woke af".. I CAN'T WAIT to open my throat for all the far-left-leaning social justice issues and "moralities" that they shove down it in every episode!!!! Gotta practice my anti-gag reflex tricks before it airs! Can anybody give me any tips?
Looks promising so far, Im seriously hope they don't drop the ball on this one, it has the potential to be great
Me too
I posted the third like@@merlotus4542 , so "me three"

Now we just need to get you to do some reaction videos to the show.
The end sequence is a "flashback" to when LA got nuked in the war ;)
Probably the origin story of the Ghul.

She's so cool that's an awesome compliment (I should actually cosplay her)
not sure if you watched Arcane on Netflix, but the main lead actress for the Fallout tv series is Ella Purnell who was voicing Jinx in Arcane.
IF THIS SERIES GOES WOKE FORGET ABOUT SEASON 2

Im shocked at how good it looks. I assumed since it's Microsoft it would be terrible like Halo
Haha I hope it's as good as the trailer. Bethesda actually makes Fallout now
They're all owned by Microsoft.
Halo was made by paramount, this is made by Amazon.

Looks great, Jonathan Nolan is gonna deliver something high quality. Budget/VFX looks amazing too.
