    Mangalorean fish curry is the perfect balance of spice, heat and sour. This curry is creamy and mildly spicy. If you like it hotter, just add one or two Guntur chillies.
    To get that traditional Mangalorean flavour, prepare this curry in an earthernpot, it takes the flavours to a next level.
    Traditionally, the curry is prepared atleast a couple of hours ahead of meal time, thereby allowing the fish to soak up the flavoursome masala. Served with steaming hot rice, this is a curry that pleases the soul !

    Ingredients :
    4 medium sized (500 gms) White Pomfret
    ½ tsp + 1 tsp Salt
    ½ tsp + ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
    1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
    1 tsp Cumin Seeds
    A pinch of Mustard Seeds
    12 to 15 Peppercorns
    8 to 10 Fenugreek Seeds
    A pinch of Ajwain
    12 nos Kashmiri Red Chillies (can add 2 Guntur Chillies for more spice)
    1 medium size Onion roughly chopped
    ½ inch Ginger roughly chopped
    10 to 12 medium size Garlic
    7 to 8 tbsp Coconut (freshly grated)
    Water as per requirement
    1 tbsp or lemon size Tamarind
    2 tbsp Coconut Oil
    2 Green Chillies
    For Tadka :
    2 tbsp Coconut Oil
    ½ of an Onion thinly sliced
    2 sprigs Curry Leaves
