Lake Effect Snow and NY&LE 636's First Run

New York & Lake Erie Railroad's Santa excursions kicked off this past weekend, roughly a day after the first lake effect snow event dumped feet of snow on Buffalo, NY's southtowns! Yet while I decided to catch the first Santa Express during the first lake effect snow storm of the season, there was another first to be witnessed as it was also the inaugural run of NY&LE 636, an MLW M636 purchased from the Western New York & Pennsylvania Railroad!
