Garlic dishes that use garlic leaves are more common in the northern part of Luzon. We use large cuts of meat for grilling for personal consumption. The ones you bought are street food size to keep it affordable.

Yes they make big barbecue if for family to eat this barbeque is small is only for selling, but they make big barbecue like liempo and leg chicken, breast,
Yes there are resto that sells big cuts, you got the small pieces of the barbeque is because those are street sold and they sell it in for affordable prices but in big resto its big cuts but of course you pay higher than the street foods 😎
Hi i am a new subscriber, from Florida,USA. I am still learning about your channel. I think that beautiful lady is your mom. I love how she eats the chicken she looks like she's really enjoying her meal. Your mom is a classy lady. I will play your playlist while doing my work at home today. Enjoy your stay!
We do not normally do barbecue pork in big chunks like shish kebabs. We slice it thin but not very thin. Those that are being sold were sliced very thinly so that they can earned more profit. As for chicken, we seldom do sliced chicken thinly like the ones you have because the meat tend to get dry when cooked specially the breast. So, we barbecue chicken in big cuts, drumstick, thighs and wings. It was so nice to see that you all are enjoying the filipino food. You appreciate our culture and the food. We are very happy about that. So enjoy the Philippines. We are happy to have you and your family.
Hi Sergie . If Your Wife Valentina , like to Cook Nilaga Beef or Pork . She can Add Potatoes dice 🎲, corn 🌽, Saba Banana 🍌 is good to add in Beef or Pork Nilaga Soup add some boullion cubes, onion 🧅, garlic 🧄, long green chilies 🌶️. And other ingredients too
We don’t make huge cuts for bbq Because street food is designed to be affordable to even very low income locals If the cuts are big, it will be expensive, many couldn’t afford
Its small cause its a budgeted bbq, cause meat is expensive, if you want bigger pieces of bbq, there are some places who serves bigger bbq but it will be much expensive of course... Pinoy prefers the budget bbq meal...
Lamb meat is not common in the Philippines because they usually grew in cold places usually in europe and middle east. But we eat lamb too if available, or we are in the other country.
YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME TO PHILIPPINES BBQ CHICKEN LOOKS DELICIOUS RUSSIAN FRIENDS ENJOY.WE ARE WATCHING FROM LOS ANGELES U.S.A SPACIBA SERGEY SHOULD HAVE LAMBANOG VODKA IN PHILIPPINES AND TANDUAY SHOTS FOR BBQ
you have to try sinigang na baboy, bulalo, chicharon pork, pork humba, crispy pata, sinigang na bangus and a lot more foods in the my country the Philippines. your family will like it really❤
We are cooking big pieces of pork barbecue, especially at the popular restaurant. In our home, we make big pieces of pork barbecue. if we prepare a small one it is so hard to eat it's like a stone. Isaw barbecue I didn't taste it yet. In Manila restaurants, all pork barbecue is served in big pieces it's so juicy and not dry.
Street food usually small pieces of meat to be affordable for locals. But when we cook our own consumption it must be bigger pieces of course. Lamb meat here in the Philippines I haven't seen it. Goat meat, Buffalo meat and beef we have it here.
We Filipinos are invented people if we can afford for the hotels or resort we will make our own datcha we go somewhere and there we make our own datcha we cald that here camping..
Sergei, you should have bought cucumber, gherkins, green mangoes, tomatoes; and mix them as green salad to pair with your yummy barbecues. Yummy. 😘😄🇵🇭🇷🇺
Grandma said she's full already but she couldn't resist the barbecue. Lamb is rarely eaten in PH and usually they are expensive so it's not a go-to option of meat. We do have different houses too, but usually in the provinces or Baguio for the cooler weather.
SERGEI & VALENTINE, bring your parents to MANG INASAL to taste the GRILLED CHICKEN their specialty. Now it's been a stormy day, and we are encountering TYPHOON here in the Luzon area. The Philippines encountered typhoons 20 to 25 per year (approximately).
Rich families in the Philippines have many houses, and they either have other homes in the mountains or have a beach house in another island, like dachas in Russia. If you want bigger pieces of pork try lechon kawali or crispy pata, but these are fried, not BBQed. Also, Kostya is an amazing actor, he is only in the background and is silent but he does a lot of physical things to make you notice him. He needs his own channel. Haha.
Question #1: no. we don’t make many dishes with big slices or cubes of pork because filipinos eat plenty of rice to meat ratio. When we eat a half a thumb of meat from one "ulam", we pair it with 2 to 4 tablespoons of rice with the "ulam's" soup. So a steak is a luxury. Also, 1 reason why we only cook lechon on birthdays and other big events is because it is meant to be consumed by more than 1 family. With visitors, cousins, aunts and uncles, tita’s and tito’s, lola and lolo’s, friends, neighbors. Close relatives. And etc. it is only we prepare large amount of meats on "ulams" when there is a big gathering, reunion or a big party to celebrate like a daughters or son’s graduation, daughters debut, or passing of board examinations, weddings, birthdays, and others. But for a single family, small amounts of meat (pork, chicken, fish, beef, or goat) in one "ulam" is already enough. Like 1 adobo with 1 half kilo of chicken for 4 people or 6 is enough. Question #2: no, we don’t eat lamb in the Philippines. If there are, it is luxury to eat lamb. Question #3: Filipinos have “Dacha” but only those rich enough who can afford it. Those who do, buy 1 to 3 or more hectares of land outside the city in the provinces and build a rest house there. We call dacha “rest house” in the Philippines. For Filipinos who cannot afford dachas or rest houses, we just go to pool resorts, mountain resorts, or hot and cold springs, or river resorts or waterfalls, or beaches near or far from the city. That are crowded or fortunately not over crowded. It is only when big vloggers discovers these remote amazing places that when it becomes viral, big bunch of people comes, that is why the owner of the properties with hot or cold springs or rivers or waterfalls, private or government owned, are forced to develop them to a resorts and charge entrance fees, environmental fees, and cottage fees, corkage fees, so they can cover the expenses of maintaining the resorts clean or pristine. Also, Russia land is much bigger than Philippine lands that is why it is probably cheap for you to buy parcels of land. But here in the Philippines it is a race and a privilege to own parcels of land that you can make a dacha or a rest house out of it. Some Filipinos who don’t live in the cities, but live in the far flung areas in the provinces, live in a similar setting of dacha but they are poor. Their only income is farming, kamote, balanghoy, crops, kangkong, corn, but are bought at a small price. That is why they resort to selling their properties to rich people from the cities. Poor farmers or indigenous people don’t have proper educations that is why money is very tempting for them which are cheap for rich city folks, to sell their piece of lands. Luckily some good people of the Philippine government is doing something to protect and support farmers and indigenous people into selling their lands and help them make their agriculture more productive or yield more instead of selling them

Sergei... Filipinos don't really have a seperate house just for vacationing in the countryside... The closest thing that Filipinos have to Dacha is going back to their family home of origin, to their 'provincia' for a vacation or to have a break from their work. If someone has a seperate house for just vacationing , they call it, 'hacienda' and they're usually reserved for the very rich who could afford it.
Thank you Sir for making them taste the foods we Filipino and Filipina had and here in the Philippines we usually call that as street food and ehaaaam eat well Sir and Ma'am ❤❤❤
We normally make our barbecue party when there is a special occasion, we make it ourselves. But, same like you Sergei, if we crave to eat it, we just buy it outside because it is more convenient and ready to it. For the other barbecue like isaw, pork or chicken barbecue we normally dip it in sauce like vinegar or any other sauce according to your taste and it is only optional. Normally, we also eat barbecue with beer as "pulutan" something you eat alongside with the beer.
In the Philippines goat meat is preferred to lamb...I learnt to eat lamb in another country. In fact I preferred it to beef...we have a version of your dascha...we have our beach houses but normally only rich people can afford one
Tuna panga we can cook it with sinigang soup. We put in a lot of water tomato, onion, kangkong or we call it Filipino spinach. Chili green long. And tamarind powder.
In North Luzon, there is also a Sheep Farm, and Sheep meat is a lamb..We cook it as a Caldereta and Litson but filipino loves Goat Meat Than Lamb because of the Smell of the lamb.
Small bbq for small people, hehe ... We have big cuts of bbq in more upscale restaurants but more expensive, The one you bought is from street vendors which is catered for the masses thus small cuts to be cheaper.
My feiend here in cebu have sheep 9 pcs. We eat lumb if having party. We cook it like lechon and calderita. So cant see often selling sheep or lumb meat herw in Philippines. But it has.. And we cook tuna like griilled and kinilaw... New subs. Here. Enjoy and take upon staying here in Philippines.
Russian parents are getting a hang of Filipino street foods. They will miss those when they return to Russia. If it's available there, let them try papaitan.

The pork BBQ sold by most street vendors are tiny so they can keep the price low. You can probably ask them to make larger ones as a custom order.
closest to lamb would be goat (kambing). you can make caldereta using goat. it is a toamato based stew with potato and carrots.
Isaw is my favourite 😋❤
