- "Awesome (You Are My Hero) (Slammin Club Mix)" by Ya Kid K. The elusive and official end credits version from TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze.
If you didn't grow up during this decade, I feel sorry for you.
Agreed
Thank you cause I wasn’t born when this movie came out😭 but the first time I watched tmnt was the 2012 series. Well at least there bringing back tmnt 1990 back to theaters so now I can finally know what it feels like!😁
I have tmnt 1-4 movies from my uncle
You all prolly dont give a damn but does someone know a tool to log back into an instagram account?
I was dumb forgot my account password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
@Enrique Armani instablaster ;)
Born in 1983. The 80s and 90s were great times to grow up in. For me growing up TMNT was life.
Also born in 1983. Agree 100%.
Was born in 84 and yea TMNT had the whole world in a chokehold lol
83
'84!
almost cried hearing this so many years later....I miss the old days
I cried today when this movie came on Cartoon Network for Acme Movie night!
Bruuuh! I couldn't help but cry!
TIME TO GO OUTSIIIIIIIIDEEEEE!!!!!🤪🤣😭😭😭😭
When she starts saying, “mic check 1,2,1,2, I used to go NUTS!! This was my jam.
I remember watching the end credits just to hear this song lol
same!! my hero!! 😁
kalakkuna2 ✋
Me too !
me three!!
Yep! Totally awesome.
God I always, will miss the 90's.
Man , for someone who grew up in the 2000's i gotta admit: the '90s seem like a fun time to live in.
They were the best man. In these crazy times I find myself going back to the music and movies from the 90s. Simpler times.
it was amazing. we had a really great time. life was a lot simpler, slower etc. people were way more sane.
You just had to be there 🤩
Back in the day, I saw the movie in theaters, heard this song at the end, and left with a great experience. Now, the nostalgia makes my soul hurt. Man, what a great song. I kinda regret being a gamer back then because I'd forgotten about a lot of things that were around at that time, like movies, music and other fun stuff. I was too busy with a gamepad in my hand to appreciate all of it. I never thought I would end up in an era of idiotic celebrities, uninspired entertainment, and not a single shed of 90s flair. What happened?
and endless movie remakes?
back then the games were that entertaining, granted I was young but somehow I absorbed everything in a heavy way, was and still am a gamer, now that im old enough to be out in the scenes they dont exist in the way they did back then, I belong in the 90s!
Leaving the theater to Partners in Kryme's "Turtle Power" was even better. The series employed really good dance music, like those two songs, Spin That Wheel -- hell, even Ninja Rap was catchy and fun.
Seems like each decade is a diffrent reality, a matrix
Facts!
"And remember Go ninja, Go ninja, Go!"
Christopher Anonuevo exactely !!!!
I made another funny Ha ha ha ha !!
HIYAAAAHA!!!!!!!!! *backfliped*
In the end, Splinter-Sensei is super proud of his four sons who defeated Shredder. 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐀
"Practice Harder."
I don't know why this track is so good. Something about the 2nd set of strings at 1:50 makes you feel that whatever situation you are in, it's going to get better.
I actually cried while reading this because I know the situation I’m in gotta get better!
1:10 when that beat kicks in thoo!!! Whole mood
The 90's was and always will be the shit. These young cats today missed an whole era!!
Splinter: “I MADE ANOTHA FUNNY!...... HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!” Best ending to put a smile on your face.
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😂😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Early nineties best childhood memories ever
Same. 90 to 95 were the best for me. Summer of 94 was epic.
I can play this nonstop on looping-repeat
Man i miss the 80s and 90s ......
That's a fact my friend.
I love this version! The 90s were awesome!
Childhood memories and my childhood heroes!!!
One of the BEST Ninja Turtles movie in history.
Was enjoyable when you were a kid and it still holds up to this day as adults.
Wow! I can't believe you found and posted this version. I almost ruined my VHS tape by rewinding the credits just to hear this version over and over.
laidback93 i dit like you many times !
I did same
No tik tok , no Facebook, neither Instagram, just a popcorn , soda and a tv!
My son born in 2019 jumps on the bed once he hears this in the end credit
Future Ninja ✊🏾✊🏾🔥🔥🔥😅😅👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
My number one favorite childhood movie!!
Ya Kid K did a song for each soundtrack in The orignial trilogy. Facts.
TMNT I: Spin That Wheel
TMNT II: Awesome (You're My Hero)
TMNT III: Rockin Over the Beat
All 3 are fire too
@@hitt357 They’re banging too.
PLEASE TAKE ME BACK TO THE 90'S! Anything but this crap we have now!
Exactly! 80s and 90s were the best times! Nowadays it's just crap in charts, at the movies, on TV etc
awwwwwww maaaaan, this brings back sooo many good memories. so 90's it hurts, lol. man sometimes I wish I could go back in time to then, so much simpler easier and fun times. 90's were so much more brighter, colorful, fun, and exciting.
the legend this too!! The video & colors are soo capsuled in time. I miss those days

Play this song while playing Streets of Rage. It's perfect.
My 15 year old self has just came to visit me, So i can watch this video again strike up the band my 15 year old self is back.
Best movie outro. ever
Gawd I miss the 90's
Miss the early 90's.
Wish I could go back to this era. Please someone give us that time machine already!!
The 90s is missing you too..❤❤❤
Crazy dance track. Reminds me of heavy clubbing days when people went to nightclubs to dance instead of staring at everyone else or fighting.
Yep!!
fucking truths
Smartphones and social media ruined it
Or shooting for that matter 🙄
Let's bring that 80s-90 feel back again for 2022
Ya Kid K is widely categorized as "Techno" but that early 90s style is New Jack Swing. The other song in the credits "Creatures of Habit" is New Jack Swing. Awesome stuff :)
for me, TMNT II was the best movie. It has Ernie Reyes JR, TOkka, Razza, Vainilla Ice and of course YA K Kid song at the end of the credits D
I would describe my favorite genre of hip hop as "late 80's/early 90's movie end credit rap songs"
I can't help but think about the Streets of Rage games when i listen to stuff like this from the 90's.
TMNT cereal, TMNT movies, TMNT games, one of the many good things of the 90s. I remember getting the flip books in one of my cereals when the movie came out. good memories. :)
One of the best soundtracks in a 90's action movie
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you!!!
For uploading this👍✌
Man I remember this song! First time I heard it at the end I stood in the theater till it was over. This song captures the feel of the era. What turtle power did for the first film this song does for the second. Songs like this will be missed...when songs were only exclusive to movies 👍
Your comment alone just made me tear up and have goosebumps because I DID THE EXACT THING! I was in awe at the end
@@Obeezee1 awww aye thanks 🫵🏻😁😎. Glad I could show dem feels through my words 👍🏼😉. Yo I still jam to this till this day lol
song does something to my heart. Goosebumps and memories of a childhood i wouldnt trade for the world. Almost brings a tear to my eye. todays kids will NEVER know.
the added vocals over the chorus throw the feeling off slightly tho.
Big ups on getting this version though, it wasn't on the soundtrack, so to come across this is cool as hell
old skool jam, love this track, specially this version.
Why was this song so hard to find until now? The version without the female background singer just isnt the same
yass
Artist: Technotronic
Genre: Dance Pop
I miss the early 90's, so much creativity in music and movies back then.
Brings back the memories of the good times in my childhood.
Wish I had a time machine to relive the 90's again.
Thank you rashad0026 for uploading this, you are the man! :D (thumbs up)
It’s not technotronic
@@gatchywatchyentertainmentb2090 yes Ya Kid K owns the rights to it but she was with technotronic back then just like “before the night is over” and “pump up the jam.” 10 years ago I wrote this comment so I’m not surprised legal actions were taken to change songs to her handle and remove technotronic.
Simply.. CLASSIC!!
hii
Love that bass beat.
The picture on this vid, I had that poster in my bedroom when I was younger and also the 1 from Turtles 1 where they're looking out from underneath the road. I loved both the first and 2nd film (I watched the 2nd in the cinema when I was 4or5 with my brother, cousin, auntie and uncle) brilliant music on both films and it reminds me of good times.
I'm so lucky to have this move along with first and third ones. These are classic movies and music
Love this song. Thank you so much for uploading in HIGH quality. Best one yet.
This need to be on Deezer & Spotify
awesome.. where'd you come from. My hero. What's your name. What's your name.
I So wish this version was on the soundtrack!
DUDE! Thanks for posting this! I always wondered why the song on the soundtrack was NOT the same as the song that actually played during the end credits. THIS IS AWESOME!
Ya Kid K was the shiz.
This makes me missing my good old days in the 90's...
I remember this song and "Creatures Of Habit" on the closing credits. I miss the 90's
I was five when I saw their movies now im 21 and I still watch all their movies just amazing. They just dont make movies like this no more now they use stupid cgi. WELL I SAID IT BEFORE ILL SAY IT AGAIN MAN I LOVE BEEN A TURTLE.
when Hip Hop was clean and positive
I feeling nostalgic
now that's what i call a 1991 soundtrack
I'm glad that I was one of the 90's kid...
AWESOME
7 years old when this first came out. Movies back then were golden
"You Are My Hero"
Dang you’ve been around UA-cam since the beginning *legend*
@@coolkidsinschool7446 I like to keep it old school, stay frosty hero 😉
This is basically the original version of the end credits of the movie 🎥 and omg 😱 was i looking 👀 for this for a while now lol and thank God I found it, proud to be an 80’s baby
I have often wondered why the film version of this song wasn't also used for the soundtrack.
That freeze frame on the flip at the end.
Bring back the days...
My mom took me to the theatre to watch this movie, i jucan barely remember the final part, when the turtles flipbacl, and then the light were turned on with this song sounding, now i'm 26

No feeling like those times were...classic.
That's a fact my friend.
"I'm totally awesome" hits so hard😎
You know how many times I rewinded this song on vhs lol man
Same here. I wore out that part of my VHS tape.
I used to do that all the time and my grandfather would ask why I never let the entire VHS play 😄
The classic movie in the 90,s the second golden decade of the animes, mangas, series, movies, cars and games later of the 80,s
dude i been trying to find this version forever! thanks for posting this up!!
This is the best version! The VHS 📼 mix !
MAN I LOVE BEING A TURTLE!!!
Ten flips now! And remember...Go Ninja Go Ninja Go!
*Turtles do backflip*
I made another funny! HAHAHAHAHA!
Always makes me smile 😁😁😁😁
Everyone, use your martial arts fighting style to follow the B.R.T. (Beat, Rhythm, Tempo)!!!!!!!!!!!
FINALLY! One of my favorites!
Surely brings back the wonderful memories of high school with my friends and I, literally believing we were T.M.N.T for real. Students around school knew we were crazy about the turtles; everything about them. I use to draw all the characters perfectly and show them off in class. So much nostalgia. I have the gift now to create or adapt my heroes in green in a feature film or even a novel, etc. 30 yr anniversary of the first film is coming in just a few years. Turtles was my theme for the 90s without a doubt; so many great memories. Let me see now, Donatello and Raphael are law enforcement officers. Michelangelo, I have no idea, except that he lives on the West coast last we spoke in 06 as four friends in the basement. And the leader, Leonardo, I'm an artist backlash screenwriter. I'll leave it at that.
Still blasting this all the way here in summer 19! Who’s with me? This song is AWESOME!
Yesssss classic !!
this will forever be this ish
luv dis song ^__^ thanx bro memories.....
This version should be used on the next Ninja Turtles live action movies

Im 24 & I love both movies...I use watch & imitate the fight scenes. I like this track & the last fight scene music from TMNT 1 on the rooftop
