Cole and Roman, I wish we were neighbors!! My wife and I absolutely love your construction and farming videos! Thank you for taking the EXTRA time it takes just to bring us along with your work. Please give Roman a BIG THANK you for being a part of all this!! Take care and may God overwhelm you, your staff and families with blessings!!
I am a Bridal Dress designer and seamstress in the Seattle area. I cannot get enough of your channel. You all are extremely educational, informative, and fascinating to watch. I never knew much about the large farm industry but love to watch you video's as often as you post. Just awesomeness all the way around.
You have been very busy today. It's great to see you taking care of farm and family business. Thank God for family and friends to help you along the way in life.
What an amazing teamwork. Neva works really hard taking care of the house and children. Let put it this way , she stays real busy . Cole , I keep up with you , Copper , and your father . God bless you all . 🙏🏻❤️
Cole I must commend you. I am a 72 yo grandma in Oklahoma and my grandpa was a farmer in Appanoose County Iowa. He was mostly growing corn but he never had to drive a semi, a skid loader, a tele-handler, an excavator, or use a computer or deal with all the government programs you guys must now a days. Kudos to you, Daddy Cornstar and Cooper (what a rock star on getting all that equipment ready!)!!!!! Oh yeah and I cannot forget his friend Zach and of course the workhorse ROMAN the GOD of CONSTRUCTION!!!!
I got no idea why I am fascinated by and follow this content. Yes I grew up in rural west PENN/ Ohio country in the 60's, but the stuff presented on Cole's sight is way beyond the stuff of my childhood. Love the content,
I really like how the whole Cornstar group tag teams each other's job when needed! Plus does it with a good attitude! Shout out to my YT adopted grandsons who are awesome!! Nice work y'all!
DC team work is a beautiful thing especially when family is involved. its pretty cool how you operate and everyone pitches in whenever, where ever. God bless.
Cole,I used an attachment on my mini excavator to read my laser, this way I could dig without going out all the time to check my levels. It worked very well and was not over expensive
I Love hearing your old intro again “COLE THE CORNSTAR!!!!”. Reminds me of all the years following a teen, to a young man to a husband, father… Loved being here along for the ride with you.
Cole it's called administrative duties that have pulled you away from the project. Finally nice to see you out of the basement and working on the theater. Roman is truly a rockstar! 💜🇺🇸
When this project is complete, there needs to be a plaque honoring Roman at the entrance to the movie theater. He’s an intelligent and incredibly hardworking young man. His work ethic is incredible. Cole is very fortunate to have Roman on the team.
why is the basement floor not being poured first? a concrete pump truck could drive down and easily shoot it in , seems like a lot of backwards steps, then do footings outside then pour theater floor , ugh the bouncing around to start projects gives me anxiety lol a lot of extra work
@@jarrettfullerton2580 Let's dig trenches for drainage and bury the pipe. Let's dig footers 4x too big directly over those pipes, so dig up what we buried and set forms. Cole and Roman dig nearly every hole twice before they're done. Now they're going to set footers on loose rock and floors on loose gravel that likely won't be compacted. I hope Cole likes sagging walls and cracked floors.
They're learning some of this stuff as they go. They're likely being cautious about the basement floor in case they need to make changes or add anything.
Roman you’re so right. Without actual plans drawn up for the whole project ahead of time is what’s causing you guys to have to keep going backwards. Like the basement project. All that foundation work should’ve been first then work up to the basement. It’d be well worth it for you & Cole to sit down using an app that helps you draw out plans with all the measurements/requirements needed so you’re not wasting time & money trying to figure it out on the fly. If the foundation fails, the house fails.
@@samtrosper7224 that’s what I keep asking. In my state, PA, we have to have a permit to start building & inspections that have to be passed or you’ll get shut down. But states like Arkansas don’t need permits. Idk about Iowa, but I haven’t seen a permit sign in a window.
@@martyf3531 If permits are required for building, he’d legally have to have one, but wouldn’t have to hire contractors. They must not need structural engineers or plans for a permit bc they don’t have any.
@@chrissyfrancis8952 I think it has to do with being on a farm. He just has to deal with county as opposed to dealing with city regulations and permit requirements. County is much more laxed.

There is just a ton of shooting yourself in the foot with this project. Dig the hole, which makes it harder to finish the main basement work, then dig up the drainage holes that you just filled in to put your footings in. Like Roman said, a set of plans would be nice.

Hello Cooper , Poppa Cornstar , Roman, poor Roman , Cole must be the middle guy from the House and the Fields . It’s Sunday afternoon around 3:12 pm from East Texas , hope yaw have a wonderful evening .
@Cole The Cornstar get expanding bentonite sealant strips between the house and the theatre and between the slab and walls of the theatre - it prevents any seepage of water and reduces moisture ingress through the seams should your drainage ever get temporarely overwhelmed - they are like tar sealant strips but slowly expand if they get in contact with moisture and are used to seal basements that are close to or below ground water level - in combination with waterimpermiable concrete mix like B4 creates long therm dry basement without needing to spray bitumen or torch on asphalt matts on all exterior surfaces ; )
Sometimes these construction sites look huge. Then, after it’s finished, it looks incredibly small compared to what you would think. Takes a lot of space around a worksite. I saw a huge construction dig and wondered what massive thing it was for, only to see afterwards it was just a gas tank. The visuals on job sites are deceptive
Something that'd be kinda cool: Could you take a walk to the end of your drain pipes so we can see whats weeping out now if anything? The whole weeping system seems to have been really effective and I'm curious what the day to day flow is like without rain adding to it. Huge change from the Cornstar Mudbog you had at first...
