When you say the infrastructure is managed by SAP, what does they actually manage? Example : uder system.management , OS Patching is excluded. So the customer is expected to perform the same?

I already learnt sap fico now it is compulsory to take course in s4hana or it is ok if you have knowledge on s4 changes plz guide me
