I work at Ulta and the other day I had a girl looking for a deep red color correcter when she didn't need one. I channeled my inner Robert and told her it wasn't needed and she'd only use more product to cover it. I love that you mention the brush but you ALSO mention how its shape has changed over the years. That way someone doesnt go in with the same brush and not get the same result. It's the small details that you do that I adore!!!

I have SUPER hooded eyes ... if the standard halo eye doesn't work for you because your lids eat up the whole halo, try putting the colors in .. like verticle stripes? Instead of the small color blocks that robert did. Its not quite as neat but its visible even on your most hooded days!

I can’t believe how easily I understood all that you explained. When you added the black I felt that it needed more brown and then you added more warmth! I think that was a moment for me where I went ‘Oh I was kinda right?’ and that’s shocking for me cause I don’t ever understand where these looks are going or why a certain colour was chosen but I got it! There's is NEVER enough purple! I'd rather watch someone creating looks with purple than the same brown/orangy boring colors 🤷🏻♀️💕
I feel the exact opposite. Purples make me look like I've gone a few rounds with a professional boxer. Neutrals are much more universally flattering and will last the test of time.
Personally i love a kind of dusty mauve purple ... more fun than browns but not super intense and more universal
Check out Ashley Ellix if you haven’t before! She uses lots of color and often does halo eye looks as well.

I love that you have brushes that are 10+ years old! My favorites in my own collection are my older ones that have worn down to "fit" my eye, if that makes sense lol.
Can you please do a video featuring your favorite Matte Yellows, Mustards, Murky Greens, Murky Green Browns, Olives, etc.? Or a look featuring some of these shadows? Love you!

FTC MUA I’ve been wanting those colors so bad! Two palettes that I’ve heard good things about from YTers I trust are the Melt Gemini palette and the Kaleidos Futurism-scI-Fi green palette. Thinking about biting the on the Kaleidos palette because I’m so curious about the brand the price is great:)))))

Wow, I feel like I've watched about a million cut-crease tutorials and this is the only one I've walked away from actually feeling like I could replicate! Love the way you explained the placement of all the shadows and brush angles. THIS is the difference between watching someone who's just good at makeup vs an actual pro!

I think you are one of the best UA-camrs I’ve seen at instructing how to do things. Even when others are showing how they do steps, it’s so fast half the time I feel like it leaves giant gaps, when you follow along. I don’t get that with you, so thank you. Also, you are so relaxing to listen to and amusing at times in an adorable way. I really enjoy your videos.
Honestly it's so refreshing to see someone who actually knows what they're talking about and why they're doing things.
So many girls around me nowadays go to a course for a few days and go around saying they're trained makeup artists. And no doubt they have skill but all their looks are the same, they use the same technique on every face! Luckily I'm confident enough to do my own makeup but I feel sorry for girls who pay £25 for a face of makeup that is too heavy, not adapted for their face shape or structure and when they use drag techniques on people who really don't need it!!
Edit: not dissing drag techniques btw, but when drag Queens do their makeup they're trying to make their faces appear more feminine. A 16 year old girl doesn't need her eyebrows highlighted with tons of concealer, her under eyes baked with white powder or her lips majorly over lined.
