Huge shout out to Heavy D Sparks and his amazing team for the best Snowed In experience of all time! The mechanics, filmers, cooks everyone was so cool to hang out with for the week!
Build an electric cross kart with a snowmobile rear end, placing the battery pack over the back on a swivel/tilting arm. This allows for dynamic weight shifting while keeping the rider comfortably and safely positioned up front. Previous attempts at this concept failed due to an inability to redistribute weight effectively. However, this design turns the battery weight into an advantage rather than a drawback. By leveraging its mass strategically, it enhances handling and extends range beyond that of a standard electric snowmobile. This proof of concept has the potential to revolutionize snowmobile design and performance!
I spent so much time trying to put what I felt into words about the Black Hawk experience and I still did not do it justice. Truly indescribable is all I can say.
Edwin, it made me super happy to see the joy you experienced in my back yard, especially from the vantage point of the Blackhawk. I’m super blessed to have that mtn range and lake so close. Thanks for helping me continue to appreciate it.
Ethan, please start dreaming about making your own Ripsaw! Just a tube frame, a V8, some huge brakes, lots of small shock absorbers and lever arms, and some tracks with some sort of tensioners. Watch all epiodes of Howe&Howe for inspiration. You could use thick gauge wire and clamp-on shoes for tracks, or old sets of snowcat tracks which is rubber strips with aluminium shoes clamped on. Or maybe two sets of snowmobile tracks cut up and joined together? You guys could do a video series over several years, we would watch it all! Dream big!
It makes me so happy to see Heavy D and crew so pumped on you guys on this trip. It feels like everyone else finally getting to see why one of your favorite channels is so rad. Y'all have earned it. Stoked
I'm not surprised you shed a tear, what an incredible situation to find yourself in! Jealous of course, but so glad you guys get to experience and share it with us!
23:51 Dear Edwin now that you are Airborn or air-rebirtht I really feel with you how it might feel. I can remember when I first flew in a paraglider down the Alps in Austria. It really felt so much like home. I think that is what might have overwhelmed you as well. I really appreciate your spiritual view and approach to life. Stay blessed all of you HardGrinders ! Greetings from the Baltic Sea 🌊
I understand that feeling you had in the chopper. You deserve the happiness you have created and made for you and your family. Be proud of your accomplishments and know you have many more to come. You live in a beautiful state, surrounded by nature and have some of the greatest friends money can't buy. Live it up. It's real.
Proud to be one of those guys who spammed heavy D's comment section and got yall there i think you did it justice with ya words edward and the tearing up showed us what you meant
I am absolutely amazing how Ethan can think of something and put it to steel and create the most kickass toys ever. Didn't think the Monster Chopper couldn't get any cooler, then you upped the ante and made that ski. So awesome.
Just an idea.. 2 hayabusa engines, one for each track. Link the clutch hoses and the gear linkages, but steer by differential throttle. Who needs reverse!
Seeing a snowtracked limousine pull up and casually ask “how’s that thing?” To a monster snow motorcycle, plus all these other vehicles is like the twilight zone of UA-cam creators!
I was genuinely smiling ear to ear throughout this whole video, truly so proud of how far you guys have come. I know everyone would agree that you deserved a place there as much as any of the other big time creators who went along.
I went on a ride in a military helicopter some years ago. when the national guard was doing a recruiting drive. it's a weird experience but I'm betting wasn't anything like a Blackhawk. The monster chopper did really good, that one monster mudder tire did great. Ethan has more nerve than I could have on the monster chopper. it's scary enough on dry pavement I couldn't imagine it on snow and Ice. I would love to live half the life that you guys do. I would have ear ear grin 24-7. my face would hurt from grinning so much.
I didn't at first but I remember the ripsaw. and when Jay Leno checked one out. they are wild and crazy the ultimate do anything vehicle. Ethan is so bad-ass, he is hero material getting serious air on the Hyabusa. hell yeah!!!!
I flew in a black hawk in Bosnia in 1996, im English but Americans landed at our base and offered to take us for a ride and it was amazing, much better than a rollercoaster. 👌👍😁
That monster chopper to me is plenty scary on dry pavement. I couldn't imagine how scary it would be on snow and Ice. but Ethan knows what he is doing that's for sure. it even likes the deep powder AWESOME.
I was so happy seeing you guys at heavy Ds cabin. You all deserve everything good, as you work so hard and creative. I also definitely watch Edwin's hydrofoil shenanigans also if course. Thx for dropping by and leave me a comment on the GULF bikes. Ment a huge deal to me. So thank you. Much love from Norway Toby
Served 20 years in the Army and got to fly on many, many crash-hawks. Nap of the Earth at 2am is downright amazing. When the helo started up I could smell the aviation fuel right thru my monitor!
What an impressive time, and this video is so WELL EDITED. Loved the effect of the heli ride on Will, looked profound for sure. What a fine group of inventive minds. Thanks !!!!
Steven was asleep on the ride there, he didn't look asleep after his ride on the Black Hawk, mind you Edwin was in another place during the ride and Ethan certainly wasn't going to miss it.
That is so freaking cool! And here I am sitting at home with my new snowboard that I couldn't ride for 3 years because of the war.. Watching this video was kind of emotional. Thank you!
You're like me dude, something about flight is beyond an emotional experience. It's like it touches your soul every time you go up. Good luck, I haven't had money since my first flight!
I sat between gunners on a couple BH trips in Iraq. Pretty sweet ride, but I preferred the Chinook. Although the BH is fun if the pilot is willing to get rowdy the Chinook is the softest, most comfortable flight I've ever experienced.
Throughout my life, I have been on planes. I have only ever been on one helicopter; the Blackhawk. It is truly an experience like no other, and the only thing I have done that can rival it was flying in a C-130. It is a bit of a shame that it was so cold up there, because when I got to fly, we had the doors open.
"Being at snowed in is like being in a gta server of just like a bunch of kids with all of their like dream cars just driving around like crazy with no regard to whats going on" An apt description I can imagine that its relatable.
Really cool you got to record your reaction to the Black Hawk. Those moments are rare and really rare to capture on film and look back on. Not saying I teared up, not saying I didn't...
Must be an amazing ride on the heli, Id imagine Edwin would already have an awesome idea of flying like that being a FPV drone operator. Glad to see the post, I imagine you had to wait till after Dave posted to not hoard the views.

All because of tree houses and a pink mustang go kart.
Y'all deserve every bit.
Godspeed
I already saw the videos from heavy D's channel and i am just so happy that you guys were able to go have some fun
the cboys talk smack about the Changley =/
You guys need to put tracks on the humvee for Snowed In next year
I spent so much time trying to put what I felt into words about the Black Hawk experience and I still did not do it justice. Truly indescribable is all I can say.
Can’t wait to watch this video lol
Bad timing to show a video of a Blackhawk though… 😅
Turbo the Busa snow bike.
Weltschmerz Edwin. What a mensch.
People die get over it@spaceman4782
Edwin, your explanation on how you felt in the blackhawk was so damn perfect! Don't ever change man!! Never forget where you cam from.
Never ever. That is the game plan!
@@EdwinOlding man..I honestly got watery eyed watching you get get watery eyed experiencing that. You seem like an honest soul bro. Love it.

Followed Howe & Howe for years back in the early days of development....fantastic dream achieved. 🙏❤️
I'd usually say "don't give this man ideas" but in this case I'll make an exception. 😂
I think Ethan can build a big ripsaw with twin V 8s one for each track (throttle steering) or a small version with twin motorcycle engines.
Chang Li rip saw.
Behind this 100%
You guys should make a mini ripsaw! That would be absolutely awesome.
That would be awesome!
You beat me to this comment! Totally agree.
Yeah, I would love to see what they could do! Ethan could pull it off.
They have the tank still
It makes me so happy to see Heavy D and crew so pumped on you guys on this trip. It feels like everyone else finally getting to see why one of your favorite channels is so rad. Y'all have earned it. Stoked
It’s Levi! Love your channel dude super cool you also follow Grindhard!
I'm not surprised you shed a tear, what an incredible situation to find yourself in!
Jealous of course, but so glad you guys get to experience and share it with us!
I love how when HeavyD and Cleetus McFarland put on their pilot headsets they become David Sparks and Garrett Mitchell, professional pilots.

I didn't know monster snow chopper was an option
Turns out it is!
Stumbled upon this channel because the builds seemed cool, I've stayed not just because the builds are awesome but because the film making is too.
Batman wants his snowmobile and Ripsaw back
haha true 😂
23:41 Edwin I know you were filled with joy and enjoyment❤️
I frequently design, engineer and build things. Without a doubt, GHPC has mastered this method.
Lol the way Eathen was looking over the ripsaw you could almost see the drool circles at the corners of his mouth lmao 🤣🤤🤣
Gotta say, I throughly enjoyed the sheer look of panic on your face when the compressor stalled. You even grabbed your seat tighter 😂😂
Lol, Dixon Melons. And of course, Ethan would be the first to hit the jump 🤣That is so like him. Probably earned everyone's respect instantly.
I am absolutely amazing how Ethan can think of something and put it to steel and create the most kickass toys ever. Didn't think the Monster Chopper couldn't get any cooler, then you upped the ante and made that ski. So awesome.
You know the wheels are already spinning in his head to make his own, “Grindsaw.”
It’s just awesome how your channel has grown. Meeting interacting and collaborating with other big name UA-camrs has got to be the best feeling!
Grind Hard making Diddy jokes💀
8:35 real life is so bright! haha love that comment I agree so much.
It really is
love watching the emotions come out edwin
Vote for Grind Hard to build a mini Ripsaw? 😎
Just an idea.. 2 hayabusa engines, one for each track. Link the clutch hoses and the gear linkages, but steer by differential throttle. Who needs reverse!

Oohh maan you feel his honestness in the “it’s cooler than a changlee

You should test a 1000ND filter for the welding shots.
Then you would be able to see the welding bath better.
Nice Video!!!

That is so freaking cool! And here I am sitting at home with my new snowboard that I couldn't ride for 3 years because of the war.. Watching this video was kind of emotional. Thank you!
I love that Dave fixed everything on the ripsaw from the accident, except the steering wheel that took the full Bro brunt of it!
ahhh real life is so bright actually. idk why that got me but i found it hilarious
Great video trip of a lifetime by the looks
I did not expect this vid to end in a fucking chopper ride, WOW. What a time, looks awesome thanks for sharing guys!
Not only it is 1WD but also it's AWD.

You're like me dude, something about flight is beyond an emotional experience. It's like it touches your soul every time you go up. Good luck, I haven't had money since my first flight!
Logan Canyon is pretty awesome from the ground, it must be surreal from above., what a cool time.
What a special experience for Edwin, getting to ride in the Black Hawk. I bet he'll remember that feeling every time he flies his FPV drone.
HOW N HOW!!! RIP SAW... WOW! The show (H N H) I luv it...
You know you're truly canadian when I'm drawn to the sleds even with all these great machines.
Haha getting props from Evan on jumps means something!
You guys are so appreciative and deserving
As usual you guy are KILLING it!
Stay humble! You guys are awesome, glad you got to experience something like this, it is well deserved imho.
I love the hard work and thought you guys put into your builds but I love the fact that you actually use and abuse them. Keep up the great work.
Bonkers! I love it! ....Now it needs a fully studded tire in back!
True!
It’s not that you guys are crazy. It’s that you’re so crazy. I like it.
I just loved your black hawk experience I know that feeling and had it again for just a moment thanks to you and Dave
I sat between gunners on a couple BH trips in Iraq. Pretty sweet ride, but I preferred the Chinook. Although the BH is fun if the pilot is willing to get rowdy the Chinook is the softest, most comfortable flight I've ever experienced.
And yes, you gotta yell up there if you need to say anything, even with coms
I felt that video in my ❤ ! What a dream!
Epic ... Every Single Time!

Great show
I wish I could learn all these fab skills from you, such an amazing environment
Wow, that Busa jump was impressive
The chopper ride, you could see it in your face!
Really cool you got to record your reaction to the Black Hawk. Those moments are rare and really rare to capture on film and look back on. Not saying I teared up, not saying I didn't...

Edwins face when the black hawk backfired is a moment that you can't even describe.
