Mate - you're a legend! The blower on my Freelander 2005 Td4 has been intermittent for months. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. I started to smack the dashboard above the fan controls and sometimes that would make it work again, but lately nothing. I was about to phone the garage when I checked out your video. I had a quick fiddle with the connector this morning, made sure the cable was in, etc., and turned on the ignition and SUCCESS! Didn't even need to unscrew anything... She's blowing like a penniless prostitute! I haven't stopped smiling all day! 😄😄😄 Thanks loads mate 👍👍👍

Would you be able to say if the air conditioning temp sensor or switch is located around the area because I have been researching and can't seem to find anyone who can tell me where it is

Great video. I’ve just replaced the fan. Now I’m having trouble re fitting the air tube. Is there some special method. ( Fit top first then bottom). Please advise. I noticed you did it without removing the tube.

let me know if you're still needing to fit the tube and ill go out and do it on mine so I can help. but the basic answer is probably going to run along the lines of "don't be afraid to bend it about to get it back in" heater ducts are quite hard to break so it won't hurt it

I just replaced the fan in my 99. Is there a tip to getting the tube back in place. This is the hardest part.
