just a heads up they were the screw holes from the surround. hold the speedo and surround together.

Came in handy when I needed to replace the centre bulb that illuminates the speedo - but you only need to remove the top cover and not the whole cluster as you can access the lamp and twist the fitment out without removing the whole panel. Took only 10mins (+10 mins to let discharge after battery disconnected)

Perfect, just what i was looking for, i think the first screws you took out of the plastic surround were the missing ones though :)
