    For last question just put hoop stress = -0.6 Mpa in formula of hoop stress and find p,
    p= -0.1Mpa
    This should be net p...hence p required outside = -0.1 - 0.15 = -0.25 Mpa
    = 0.25 Mpa compressive
    Use rho*g*h = 0.25 Mpa
    get h = 25.48 m

    At 53:36 in area pi d t , dia should have been mean dia. If we take mean dia answer will come out to be 57.97 MPa. (Usally dia is very large as compared to thickness so doesn't matter we take inner dia or dmean but here thickness isn't negligible as compared to dia and answer will change )

    Sir why we are not taking the volume of thin cylinder as (pi*d*t*l). While the area of the base of thin cylinder is taken as pi*d*t in case of calculating longitudinal stress.
