Yes Vodafone is looking good, getting 931 download currently. BT prior to this was around 450. I have the Vodafone pro 2 with 6E router and mesh. The speed I am getting is ethernet connected to the mesh/booster with wifi backhaul, so all in all very good

I use vpn and don't seem to have any issues. The only thing I know of is that the pro router doesn't let you connect direct to VPN as the connection comes in. @craigm7821 I don't know if it's my phone or not but I never get much more than 500/550. I just hope it doesn't go up massively from the £34 I currently pay at the end of the 2 year deal. Take care mate
Hi mate, just wondering hows the ping and speeds so far? Im currently at the end of my virgin media contract and wanting to change provider and also in leeds, but only openreach network in my area for now but vodafone told me i can just switch to the city fibre network once they are in my area and are offering the 900mbps package for £36 per month
Hello mate, I have just taken a speedtest.net on my phone on wifi and the Ping is currently 8ms. You can't go wrong for £36 and for me it is still running trouble free, no buffering while we are all on it. I can't complain mate and I will definitely stay with them when renewal time comes round.
I'm glad to see that they are still doing the £29 introductory 2 year deal. I hope I can still negotiate a similar price again at the end of my 2 year.
Looking at getting Vodafone but its not possible for anyone to be digging any channels across our shared driveway, I'm sure there's fibre all the way down the street , but not to the property, what do they do about this ?
Its getting City Fibre to actually come thats the problem. They keep cancelling their installation appointments without any reason, and then it takes weeks to get another, which they then cancel. Endless merry go round.
Vodafone is really good on upload compared to virgin media, for example I have 360mb package from virgin and the upload is just 36mbwhich is really bad, should be 360mb
That what really attracted me to Vodafone. The upload speed and cost were the 2 big issues I had with Virgin, the service was fine for me otherwise. I have just had cause to get in touch with Voda, my Wired items kept dropping out, I thought the router had gone bad . I gave them a ring and they updated the router software whilst I was still on the phone with them and then phoned me back over the next couple of days and did checks at there end to see if things were still working. I must say that I was very impressed.
Hello bud. I just got this 910mb wifi today however ive never seen above 600mbps its always around 300-400 when im close to the router and around 200 when im far. Whats the issue?
Hi Joe, working like a dream mate. I haven't had to restart the router at all and speeds are pretty consistent. Even though we have more devices, no one has had any buffering whatsoever.
I have just bought this package and was with Virgin. I am quite excited for these speeds it looks great but I've seen people with problems through Vodafone
@Joe-vn6cb with Virgin I would run it in modem mode and have another good quality wireless router upstairs, which I still have but haven't had a need to set that back up at the moment.
@aftabsaquib1892 Hi, that's really why I made the video, I had only seen fairly poor reviews also, so thought it a good idea to put a positive one on. They are building a further 100 houses fairly locally just now, there almost done, let's see if the demand effects things over the next 6 months or so. I hope not 😩
I have used a few different VPNs in the past and never achieved anywhere near these kind of speeds. I would guess that most people are still using ISPs that still offer very slow upload speeds, there will be many factors that slow things considerably.
