Been staying with the plan along with you and I'm down to 208 lbs from 242lbs which was all off before covid... Tell the truth I've bounce up and down all my life. But I'm turning 75 in April, so going up and down again is not an option... I cooked some oven fried Cod yesterday, which could just as easily been Catfish. I don't see why I couldn't do the same with Crappie fillets... I'm the guy who sent your the Plabano recipe...

Hey Steve have you ever fished the salt river in Shepherdsville? Iv'e been living there for 5 years now and never have given it a whirl. Iv'e heard a few people say there are some good flatheads in there but every time Iv'e wanted to go, it's flooded up and full of driftwood.

My friend and I had a awesome time at that Catfish Conference. I met some good folks all about fishing. And ultimately I got to shake your hand. I have learned so much about cat fishing watching your videos and use your set ups using the monster rod and the cat maxx reels from rigging etc.
Just want to add, you did yourself a good thing for yourself losing that weight. Don’t want to lose my favorite catfishing UA-camr. I have lost a lot of weight myself. And it is the hard thing to do. I’m on a mission this year. I’m bound and determined to catch me a catfish 20 lbs pounds or more. Never have, it’s been a lifelong mission for me. God Bless Steve and keep fishing.

Oh man, I am instantly addicted to this channel. I'm up in Michigan, we get crappie too. Spawn is about mid May up here. I have only heard of giant crappies. And laughed, because their mouths are generally so thin. Since I'm a new sub, I have no idea what's going on. I thought I recognised those hills! What a gorgeous state that is. Moving on to your How to Fillet a crappie in 18 seconds. One last note here, I learned how to butcher a deer in half the time watching a gentleman from Kentucky on youtube. I don't do it any other way now. God bless.

Looks like y'all had a real good time Steve to me there's no better fish to eat in a crappie. I know what you mean I don't know why people want to keep crappies under 12in actually matter fact this is my opinion and I know opinions very that saying if they'd raised a size limit to 12in I know it'd be tough for a while but imagine what you have when it all balanced out good quality fishing hey Steve I tell you what if them crappie gets any bigger you going to need your large catfish net LOL anyway you keep catching them buddy keep failing will keep watching take care
