That's a uni knot and I use it for my bobber stops made with fly line backing rather than braid. That said, it's rare that I have the stop actually go into the reel as I'm usually fishing around 10-14 feet deep. But still works better than any pre-made bobber stop. More streamlined than the rubber beads and dogbones and slips less than the string versions.

Yeah I fish a clear water lake here in Alabama sometimes it black fish only when they shut down they shut down !! But when there fired up knock pole outta ya hand ... But great show Russ 👍
