Grazie!
Sorry, maybe my assumption of you being italian was wrong, here you get the translated comment: Hi there, First of all, I want to compliment you and say that you are absolutely underrated on UA-cam, both for the quality of your videos and the quality of your projects. I’m taking advantage of your new video, excellent as always, to ask you something: in the past month, I felt like building a racing simulator. So I searched online to understand how to do it and found, besides another video from which I got inspiration for the pedals, your video, where you show how to build the steering wheel. However, I didn't build the entire force feedback system: I got inspiration from another video that uses a simple potentiometer. After modifying the 3D files and DXF files to adapt them to my buttons and to use springs instead of magnets in the paddles, I built it. Thank you so much for sharing the files and the construction video! It turned out so well that I got the idea of making a kind of kit for the steering wheel and pedals to sell, not the digital files, but the physical ones as a kit to assemble. I wanted to ask if it would be okay with you if I used these "remixed" files and some completely remodeled from scratch, inspired by yours, for this project. If you prefer (and to make it clearer), I can send you photos and screenshots of the modified parts. Thanks!
@@ThaJay You are right! A force feedback sistem would be way better, i have one and it is completely different from my kit (i'm still working on it) but unfortunately i had to remove it because it adds too much complexity to a simple kit for "normal people" to build and i wouldn't be able to sell it under the 80 euros mark i had put in my mind. Thank you for the "feedback" haha!

Omg i bought a hoverboard about a year ago to do this exactly, but there weren’t any decent tutorials till now!
Good luck, these motors are terrible and epoxy ain't gonna hold up more than a week.
Hi, nice video. What type is the inner tube you used in the video, and where can I buy one?
I still am waiting for the more detailed explanation from the rewriteing but I loved the vid and I am doing this exact project right now thanks
I've linked a video in the description that clearly says what you need to do to rewire the controller
Perhaps you should have done a more detailed vis of the electronics portion.
can you make more diy videos using old scrap hoverboards? your tutorials are really easy to understand and reproduce😃😃
awesome update to this on going investigation !! how are u using just one of the optical sensors on the gyro without getting an error message ?!!!!
You need to splice the signal wires to the other connector to trick the board making it think it has 2 sensors attached
Could you do a tutorial on the old electronic seat post video, I really need the schematics and Arduino code
I'm not.using it anymore, I think I might have thrown it away. Also the code has never been optimized correctly for it to work reliably
@@DAZprojects Could you still share it with me?
Amazing video! Your channel is very good!

Do the steering wheel with force feedback if you want it to be actually usable

How many watts were the motor?
Excuse me, so you only use one gyro for the 2 motors? How is the wiring there?
Probably parrallello
