What I am not understanding is why, despite the game telling you to not escalate, you still invaded Laos. The counter attack triggered the moment your armies crossed the border, you could have conquered North Vietnam first.
it is sad, that there won't be any further ICBM videos, I personally liked your videos about it and to see your way of doing it, especially this video where you are showing your failed tries before a suceeded was really interesting
"ICBM videos are not doing well" On the one hand this game is a bit Niche, on the other hand HOLY CRAP you have SO MANY SEA POWER videos! That probably has at least SOMETHING to do with it.
@@ChiyoBebe. Yeah, 2 months with no upload and then 3 videos over the course of almost 2 weeks is not good for viewer retention on a series. Honestly this entire genre of games is not very popular and its hard to build a channel off of it, Shermanator and Diplexheated are a good example, i started watched them both over a decade ago and neither of them have hit 750k subscribers yet despite constant uploads.
@@ghostly6175 Diplex was one of the first people I consistently watched on UA-cam once I got my first account in 2014. I miss those days sometimes lol
Ya sadly naval is op right now. Hope they fix it. Also, stop going into Laos. It's what triggers the counter attack and soviets. That's why it says to wait till you have the advantage
From what I have seen, Naval forces are kind of overpowered. Around 6:00 you can see them evaporating the NVA forces. Plus having more naval forces would also do better against the soviets, when you ultimately escalate.
I mean if the enemy isn't opposing your navy yeah. Ships do VOMIT missiles especially with higher techs. Cruisers are vulnerable to submarines, and if the enemy has nuclear torpedos as stealth found out in the last mission, boom goes your battlegroup in seconds.
Hi Stealth, I know that I said this before, but ICBM should be about tactical or strategic nuclear warfare. This version just creates conventional slogging. Plenty of games do that. Anyway, I really like your videos, especially UAD and Sea Power. Do what you need to.
It would make sense once the Soviet fleet gets involved, to maybe put some Anti Ship defenses along the Coast of Vietnam (coast missile batteries or Fixed Gun positions), and get some submarines or other ship killing units. Long as you can sink their transport ships then your Mostly fine, but sinking the Cruiser and the transports means you basically shut them down. I think they got a Carrier group as well if I recall from other videos. The Air force route is a decent plan, since the Airforce while easily countered is also very Flexable. The trick with the Airforce though is using the Right Type of Ordinance. Getting a few Ballistic Missile Batteries wouldn't be bad ether since they can hit anything from a safe Distance, effectively acting your Artillery vs everything. Ships I not gonna lie are PRETTY STRONG especially as tech advances (hell even your Carriers get Missile Launchers), they just VOMIT missiles and Torpedoes. But the Navy kinda plays like Rock Paper Scissors. Carriers act as mobile Tactical Airbases, Cruisers are Anti Ship, Destroyers hunt Submarines (and shield the fleet), and Submarines kill enemy Cruisers and Carriers. VERP!!!! What? The CWIS can shoot down Fixed Coastal Artillery?! Then whats the point of Costal Artillery?!
I'm really sad to hear these videos aren't performing well, I started watching you for the original ICBM and still only watch those, plus these new ones. I think if you started uploading these videos regularly in addition to sea power they could do well. Hope you reconsider quiting this game.
The lack of views is due to very poor gameplay, sorry to say but people are watching you because you are an excellent player in wargame and when they see you struggle like that then they just stop watching. For example, i tried to watch 4 of your ICBM vids, and it is just painful...
I think it has more to do with the absolute lack of content he has put out over the months. He has cultivated a fan base of sea power and not a lot of ICBM for like 2 months. Of course the videos are gonna be lower in view count since you’ve not uploaded ICBM in forever. I think if he uploads more, the views will be there, especially compared to other ICBM UA-camrs who have worse gameplay and barely know the mechanics and need to have them explained in their comment sections.
"dont go into Laos"
immediately crosses the border into Laos, escalating the war
What I am not understanding is why, despite the game telling you to not escalate, you still invaded Laos. The counter attack triggered the moment your armies crossed the border, you could have conquered North Vietnam first.
I don't think he was thinking at that moment

Game - “Don’t escalate until you’re built up and ready”
Stealth - “ok first order of business is invading Laos…”
Big thanks for actually showing losses and failures, and not save scumming. Makes for better content.
An hour and a half of ICBM? Stealth, you're too kind.
"ICBM videos are not doing well" On the one hand this game is a bit Niche, on the other hand HOLY CRAP you have SO MANY SEA POWER videos! That probably has at least SOMETHING to do with it.
Right?! That’s what I’m saying! He brought this on himself
It definitely has something to do with it
Sad to hear these aren't doing well, I've been really enjoying them myself, but you gotta do what's right for the channel.
Makes sense considering there hasn’t been ICBM content in months. He should have uploaded more ICBM if he didn’t want an audience of only sea power

I only watch for these ICBM videos, sad to see them not performing well, but not surprising considering all other videos are sea power
I played the entire campaign without using nukes, so I definitely enjoy the sentiment of not using that to escalate.

Dude the 3 times. You just tried to get the secondary of Cambodia and wham! the map scalated.
Personally, I enjoyed the ICBM videos, but I get that you have to make what "sells". Thanks for doing these.
Mission Failed! How could America lose to Vietnam? ... Well... where to start?

Stealth: invades Cambodia
Must be American lmao
You know he's not American right?

Happy holidays stealth, hope you and the family have a wonderful holiday season!
Mfw all the series I like most from your channel don’t get enough views to be continued…
Yeah it sucks mate :(
When I played thru this mission I had a ball of cruisers that met the Soviet navy and also provided a lot of fire support against land units.
goood morning vietnam

Thanks man! Yes I enjoy the game too and I'm going to keep going with the campaign
@@Stealth17GamingGlad to hear that!
What no "Fortunate Son", playing in the background. Shaking my head in disappointment.
hai, i has question, is this game worth its price? also how's the AI in non-campaign?

unfortunately you cannot play the game at speed 2. Speed 1 is better, I think
You do a good job playing this game, it's just that it's not a good game. Too much going on too quickly, and too many options.
Too much UA-cam shorts for u isn’t good
