- A fantastic property outside this popular village and close to many other towns in this panoramic area of Abruzzo including Casoli, Fara San Martino, Pennapiedimonte and Guardiagrele.
The coast is just 30 minutes from the property, ski resorts can be reached within 45 minutes and the town is on the edge of the incredible UNESCO Maiella national park.

Gorgeous 😍, great price for this large home . Beautiful views . Love this one ❤️
If I had the money, I would instantly buy! What a gorgeous place.
Stunning. I wish they had revealed more of the stone but love what they did reveal. As for the dowstairs rooms I would be having the two end basement units as seperate guest apartment. And the room with the boiler I would make into a summer kitchen next to a gorgeous terrace with a grape arbor for shade at the far end. Then I would eventually develop the cave area as well as the sheds. Especially the one that is a ruin right now. Not sure what it would be, perhaps a lounge area to sit back with a wine or a beer and watch the scenery change out of a large window.
It is just perfect house ❤
Absolutely stunning views! Almost perfect.
beaitoful coloured stone and not one leaf moved outside .... the peace and tranquility of this place is truly wonderful ... i could get to work on this ... particularly the garden!
Beautiful property.
Oh wow, that is the perfect house for what I would be looking for when I get around to it in a few years. Enough land to plant some trees and do landscaping, room for a workshop, room for guest bedrooms and terrace. Hopefully some of these still exist when its my turn to retire.
Stunning renovation and lots of potential in the downstairs rooms.
@Mark Hill AGREED!
Very nice property.
Breathtaking views! And walk out basement apts onto a terraced garden for friends and family to use when they came to visit, so much potential!
AWESOME BEUTIFUL HOME, WOW WHAT A LOCATION DUDE... REALLY ENJOYED THE LOOK AROUND...
i love this house!
Very cool! Can’t wait to see Palombaro when we get there!
Nice. The view!
What a dream house !!
beautiful
troppo bella ha una posizione stupenda
Fabulous 👀💗
Should have given a view of the property from the road prospective
all these real estate videos would be so much better without the music
Very nice house…
Thank you for doing this video! Pictures are great, but there is nothing like having a walk through video! Very cool!
Beautiful.
This is absolutely stunning - can't wait to buy a home in Italy
I have one for sale
Great property with much potential on the lower level and grounds.
Loved the view of the mountains but not sure of the jail house I would change that straight away.😮
What a stunning scenery and great property. One small remark - the backgroynd music takes away the attention, the silence, your voice and the nature would be enough)
Nice ski resort, it's middle of the winter and there's no snow on the ground
I will happily take you there in your shorts if you would like to pop over and check out the resorts 😊
Very nice. Properties became really expensive now in Spain with no "hidden gem" areas like Abruzzo sadly. I'm going to get a holiday here in the next few years I think.
really? Even not 1h from the coast?
For a cheepie, it looks good. Thanks for the film mate.
Love the videos, but please, please move the camera a little slower around. The fast movements (horizontal panning, tilting, zooming) make watching sometimes very unpleasant, it's nauseating. Perhaps an idea to use a camera gimbal. For the rest, keep up the good work.
Adjust video playback to half speed or more. 👍
@@aeondimensions then David sounds a bit drunk and it thanks twice the time 😉 We call that 'putting the horse behind the wagon'. Nevertheless, thanks for the suggestion.
A gimbal would be perfect. I noticed the imbalance and panning to be a bit unpleasant, too. Nonetheless he is doing an amazing job with posting theses properties on video. As a viewer who may be a potential buyer, I hope he considers a gimbal, too.
Wow!
Is the music necessary?
😍
perfect house, wish the land was deeper.
Love the views. Looks like a very high quality restoration. The owners evidently found a good builder. Shame it was hazy for your visit today, but the views on a clear day must be outstanding 🙏
Beautiful place but not very insurable. All the overgrown stuff on the actual slope is probably preventing land slip. Very risky purchase.Easy to let your heart rule you brain.
the video needs an edit. it's easy today. half the video is either smog or some kind of inversion layer.
@@barrylambert6324 'overgrown stuff on the actual slope is probably preventing land slip'..nope....
@@barrylambert6324 silly comment!
@@louisliu5638 I I not a film maker nor do I wish to edit out weather, I film the real place. I can assure you it is not smog! Maybe you should visit Palombaro in May/June when fire flies are found in there billions, you only find them where the air is pure.
Beautiful!!!! How much asking for this property
Lots of construction to deal with underneath... how easy is it to find good, reliable construction workers in the area, apparently far from major hospital. How cold does it get, scarry if you get diarrhea at night, or worse...it would have been good to see the little town nearby and the surrounding areas of the property. Thanks!
I would trim the shrubbery along the edge down and plant a row of those italian cypress trees I love so much.
You should do a video of problems and joy in buying property in Italy. It is interesting though, but scarering.😊
Buying a property here is a very simple process. Join our weekly live streams as we discuss this most weeks. Tonight we talk about the legal documents and searches
Camera work was fine
I’d move into this home…..it does need some sprucing up on the exterior of the house and the land itself, though.
This place is STUNNING! This is exactly what I’m looking for in my hopes of European retirement. My only concern would be how remote it seems to be. If I’ll be retiring abroad by myself, I need to know that social activities are close by.
Dude literally said the 3 towns are within 15 minutes of the place
@@ivanhozeshed6091 I got that part. But they seem to be a little smaller. I’d have to explore the towns a little I guess beforehand.
Social activities? Like sliding on ice down a mountain? Shovelling snow? I reckon these are the activities you speak of...lol.
Only joking. But you are a fool if you dont go and stay at these locations - Summer and Winter.
Even in the UK, some of the mountain side properties look gorgeous, but living is very very dull. Nothing happens.
Looks perfect to me. I don't like people. 15 minutes to the nearest food, less than an hour to the nearest place of interest, and 1 neighbour?
Wish I'd seen this video when it was put up because I would've bought this place.
Interessante, ancora disponibile? Grazie
Post Brexit the visa hassle is discouraging me from moving within EU.
I still can't believe the prices of so many of the homes you show, that are nice. The locations are fantastic. The proximity to so many other great places in addition. I live in America, Los Angeles area, and the prices of homes here for something comparable, if there is, are 5-8x the price. Or 500-800% more. That's quite a difference I would say. Prices here are so Overvalued, and there so Undervalued. It Is hilarious. Many other positives to live there also, vs here. The U.S is and will go through a housing market drop, and There, will be a housing market boom. Unfortunately or Fortunately it is Inevitable as things are Far out of balance. Keep up the good work. Very interesting.
149k then you add the work to finish the exteriors plus several retouches to the interiors. then you have the basement situation and the endless Italian burocracy for jobs like that... the cave screams landslides to me but ok. 20 min car drive from a supermarket, god only know how far from an hospital. Amazing view tho :p
Not sure where you get your information from but it is a few minutes drive to a supermarket and less than 10 to large supermarkets and there is a local hospital within 10 minutes and a larger one in half an hour. Also rock caves don't often slide!
Would this work as an Air B&B very nice
I love it. ❤️ how much is it?
149k Euro ... it is a stone building however....
What are you selling two bedroom, one living room, a kitchen, two caves, or lots of view?
The whole house
😜😜😜😜🤡🤡🤡🤡 he is selling a bit of all of this.🤢🤢🤢🤢
very cool just a question what do people do for hospitals etc are there any nearby. are they good. that scares me. And can you drive up to the house is their a road thank you
Nearest hospital would be in Lanciano.quite a drive away.
@@kathyverratti7068 THANK YOU
It’s a very secluded village. Not much there at all.
Fantastic village with all amenities. Nearest hospital is 10 minutes drive in Casoli but also Lanciano and Atessa! 2 doctor surgeries in village as well. Also 3 small supermarkets, Pharmacy, post office, hairdressers, flower shop, Ferramenta's, butchers, designer wear shop, garage, 2 bars, restaurants which is all easy to reach so not sure how anyone can say there isn't anything to do in the village!!!
My place up road on the right pretty sure
Beautiful home bad setup, downstairs it have to be kitchen and living place upstairs have 2 bedroom , 3 th floor have master bedroom and nice bathroom pls walking closet
Way too expensive for Abruzzo. It's smaller than my London house plot. Beautiful views but still.
That's a ridiculous comment, in London with 150k you don't even buy a studio let alone a house😅
But the question I ask, if I walk to the shops jow long will it take???
Hey There.
I am super interested in this property if still available.
Thanks
Pity about the music. Would love to hear how quiet it is.
Funny question, you would love to hear how quiet it is .
Nice property. Are all those nasty barred doors and windows indicate a bad crime area? Disconcerting.
best yet stick a swimming pool on the first Terrance
Do you have a lot of expats from Canada?
13:15 | The hole in the wall ... just outside and to the left of the first room on the first level ... what's that all about? Thank you!
Looks like a bread/pizza oven. Not sure though
The holes in the walls are Windows or for ventilation. The Basement area was for livestock was kept, or for drying hams etc..
You got to remember the property is probably about 800 years old.
How big is the garden
Whenever I see so much space I can only think how to create income on the properties.
what year built?
Oh I see the price
How much?
How much is the property in US dollars and can a US Citizen purchase there??
🙂i take it you like the views
If only british homes were this big and cheap
How much price?
How much?. Nvm im blind
You can find this kind of places in Italy for 30k eur
How is the cycling in that region?
Incredible, the Giro di I'talia passes these areas everytime they come
Didn’t hear a price
why would anyone cover up vaulting ceilings. I'm wanting to buy a small villa.
Is this home and property still available?
Half my way in the video and you haven’t said the square footage or meters of the land. I suppose you’ll say the size of the house.
You on piano la roma?
Yes
That fridge is awfully close to that fireplace!! Maybe not even hooked up and there' NO outlet there???
What about the backstory fo this house ? I bet it was a farm house or something.
How do I contact you?

please kill the annoying music...property is cool
Didn't show a garage or road access... Lol.... I'm American... I need to know how I can navigate...
Yeah, because cars didn't exist when these houses were built, hon, lol.
Water supply? Energy supply? Sewage disposal? Realities should be sorted before dreams are aborted. Wish you well.
The property has mains gas, electric, water and sewage.
hello Still available?
Ma gli armadi in questa casa dove sono???
How much in American dollars?
The roads are not in very good condition. The overall infrastructure also is lacking compared to the US. Trying to remodel a home would be a nightmare there.
Yeah, because cars didn't exist when these houses were built, hon, lol.
Italiano?
is just a strip with a triangle shaped area on the side of a noisy road... is not a real place to live that way
Noisy road? You may get 5 cars a day pass by! Its close to the end of the houses on that road so just locals who live there pass by.
These properties are lower priced than some might think, but the taxes are high, and regulations are quite taxing. The economy is relatively poor due to excess bureaucracy, increasing desolation due to declining populations in the rural countryside.
Taxes are high in what sense? Bureaucracy for buying a house? Please explain for everyone to understand.
@@AhomeinItaly Forget it - he has watched some garbage on the PBS channel....lol. The US citizens are the highest taxed people in the World, well maybe except the French.
Be very careful in Italy buying a property. I've heard many horror stories regarding purchasing in Italy. There are obviously hidden municipal / permit charges and other expenses that multiplies the advertised price many times over. This type of stone house goes for half million dollars in other parts of Italy and some other Mediterranean countries like Greece and Turkey. If the price is too low to be true, usually it is not true.
You have heard? So clearly have no experience because what you are saying is incorrect.
When you say you have heard, can you share what you have heard about a property actually costing many times over the price?
Always amazes me the stories that people come up with about italy, thankfully it is not true and millions enjoy the Italian lifestyle
Incorrect, A lot of these properties ARE cheap because of depopulation in these mountainous areas. If you purchase a property ANYWHERE, you do it through a lawyer and an estate agent. I am curious about these permit charges that cost 300,000 Euroes you speak of??
The property is on the market for 150,000 Euros and you said 'expenses that multiplies the advertised price many times over';.
In any country renovating a property is very expensive. These one Euro homes usually cost 1400Euros\SqM to remodel. that is the cost of quality tradespeople, parts and labour.
Also the currency in Italy is currently the Euro...and NOT Dollars...mmmmm
There is nothing hidden, there is red tape as everywhere when you want to build real estate, for conservative restoration it's pretty straightforward but you should always work with professionals. The horror stories are generally from people that try to cut corners and save on works
Very restricted land
Shame
David, love your videos. You have come a long way with your website. My opinion I hate your music. It makes me cring. I can't think when it playing. Something more Sothing. Some less noticeable. It almost sounds like country and western music. All in my opinion.
So is the haze from burns, or smog?
Not at all, it's fog coming up from the sea.
@@mikelopezz3024 so when other people are quick to criticize a simple question anyone of is entitled to ask, we need to be aware of a "narrow minded" individual, perhaps a dictator who expects everyone to behave like him and to not ask any questions! 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢💩💩💩💩💩💩
@@mikelopezz3024 Nah. Lots of jizz, though.
Idiotic question.
Why didn't you include a view of the house from the road? As a buyer I'd like to see the ENTIRE house (just to make sure there's no hidden problems) just an FYI ;?)
Half the video could be edited as all it shows is the smog.
@@berty1422 Sorry but NOT flying over the pond to Italy to look at a pig-in-a-poke, if the seller wants to attract buyers from the US (which seems obvious imo), then he needs to MAKE SURE potential buyers have a complete picture of the property.
Hazy or chemtrailly?
You peak too much omg
I can’t stand the music
