Joe, I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed this series! My son Ryan and I enjoyed our visit with you at the Ice Show in St. Paul immensely. You were as genuine in person as you are on here! Thank you for introducing us to a few of your friends and hopefully you can make it back to the land of big trees again soon! 😉
Donnie I remember working around stew, what a funny bastard he was! We built place in vasselboro up on webber pond and it was quite a steep roof the owner wanted the chimney taller, stew told him to get his ass up there ,this is as fn high as I go! What a riot! God bless him!
Love the stove.....seeing Donnie get a kick out of the stove was so nice to see!! Joey, you're a true friend and Brother to Donnie!! I tear up seeing good friendships. Anyone who has a friend through thick and thin is rich beyond money or gems. I know there will be many good memories made there in that camp.
Had a great time meeting and visiting with you and Sean at the ice show Saturday Joe. Hey all, what you see on his videos is what he really is, down to earth, humble and caring guy 👍. And after seeing some photos of the cabin, it’s truly amazing and can’t wait for more vids of that transformation!!! Be safe traveling home.
Awesome job lads ! Great job on the stove ken you guys have a lot of great people involved will need to have a big party when it’s done have all involved there !!!
Hey Joe was watching along with the cabin build series in Ireland. You guys worked hard at it. Just watching the various interactions with Donnie and the lads, things like the cooking made it an enjoyable watch. Nice to see how folks operate across the pond.
Nice wood stove ! It would really look cool if it had a fish or deer cutouts on the sides of it ! You made a good choice for the insulation it’s easy to work with it’s worth every penny ! Can’t wait to see more progress on the camp.
I made a similar wood stove when i worked at a construction co back in like 1982,i also made a pig roaster at the same place a year later...been following your fishing series too since you've been doing Donnie's cabin...my son has an ice castle here in Minnesota! Love what ya all are doing, down to earth guys!!
Joe!!!!! Donnie Donuts were a huge hit over the Thanksgiving holiday. Making them and eating them with family felt as if we were in the North Maine woods. Huge thanks for sharing ! Tell the One Sip Bandit THANK YOU 😂
go across the joists with flooring so every board can hit a joist, I've installed dozens of hard wood floors along with pine and always want to try and go across the joists
I used cement board with slate tiles on top for my stove hearth and the other stove has cement board and marble. Have to get the stove nice and hot to season it. Rock wool is better but usually more expensive and not as good of an R value(but not far off) I hate glass
I keep hearing that "mice dont live in rockwool"..so I keep telling the mice living in the bail in my shed they cant live there. They just dont listen.
Wow that looks like one hell of a wood stove! Solid built and I really like the design. The lettering for Donnie is absolutely perfect!
Thank you I’m excited for you to use it
With that stove you guys will be in your scyviees in there. Thats a big stove. You will be able to cook on it too!!!! Good luck Boys!
I sure hope so
That's going to be a great stove ! Love the extra features it has !
Absolutely thank you me too
I can almost smell the wet socks drying over that wood stove now. Gonna be there well after we are all gone. Nice addition to the cabin.
Thank you I can too

Right on! Thank you
Conway NH we have about 4” and it is still coming down ❄️❄️
Wow let’s make some ice too
@@JoeHollandFishing yes the problem is the snow will stop it from developing 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏praying for ice this year
I used the rockwool in my camp very easy to install. Worth the price.
agreed
Excellent product that stove is awesome.
I’m pumped
thanks buddy
Looked for you at the ice show on Friday , maybe next year.
Oh shoot I was there all day it’s just a giant place
Damn nice stove!
thank you.
We all would like to buy one of those hats.
For sure
Great video, awesome stove
Glad you enjoyed it Thank you.
I’m wondering where you plan on ice fishing from this camp?
Eh we will find some locations
That is one nice wood stove.
thank you.
go across the joists with flooring so every board can hit a joist, I've installed dozens of hard wood floors along with pine and always want to try and go across the joists
Its click in flooring.
Is the sand for the first few fires? I'd imagine it gets raked out with the coals eventually
It stays below the coals and just prevents any warping etc in the bottom belly of the stove.
With that stove I’v come up with a Camp name;
“Camp Shweaty Balls”
hahah, might be.
I used cement board with slate tiles on top for my stove hearth and the other stove has cement board and marble. Have to get the stove nice and hot to season it. Rock wool is better but usually more expensive and not as good of an R value(but not far off) I hate glass
I am all done with glass if there are no problems with the wool.
Nice stove! How does the sand hold up to shoveling ashes out?
Will let you know should just be a skim scoop
You’re blessed to have the opportunity to build a camp up there man! I love it!
It's easy to replace a trigger on jigsaw. I've done several drills and saws
Cool I will look into it. Milwaukee has a great warranty.
Howdy Joe!
Hey bud
Does he want to have his contact up for possibly selling stoves? Is this his business or side job?
He said he would be open to doing them I believe
No firebrick needed?
No but we might add some
Is there any firebrick in the stove?
no not yet.
I keep hearing that "mice dont live in rockwool"..so I keep telling the mice living in the bail in my shed they cant live there. They just dont listen.
Are they living in Rockwool ?
@@JoeHollandFishing yes
Nice
thank you.
How much snow up there?
