    Joe, I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed this series! My son Ryan and I enjoyed our visit with you at the Ice Show in St. Paul immensely. You were as genuine in person as you are on here! Thank you for introducing us to a few of your friends and hopefully you can make it back to the land of big trees again soon! 😉

    Love the stove.....seeing Donnie get a kick out of the stove was so nice to see!! Joey, you're a true friend and Brother to Donnie!! I tear up seeing good friendships. Anyone who has a friend through thick and thin is rich beyond money or gems. I know there will be many good memories made there in that camp.

    Had a great time meeting and visiting with you and Sean at the ice show Saturday Joe. Hey all, what you see on his videos is what he really is, down to earth, humble and caring guy 👍. And after seeing some photos of the cabin, it’s truly amazing and can’t wait for more vids of that transformation!!! Be safe traveling home.

    Hey Joe was watching along with the cabin build series in Ireland. You guys worked hard at it.
    Just watching the various interactions with Donnie and the lads, things like the cooking made it an enjoyable watch. Nice to see how folks operate across the pond.

    Is the sand for the first few fires? I'd imagine it gets raked out with the coals eventually

    • @JoeHollandFishing
      @JoeHollandFishing  10 місяців тому

      It stays below the coals and just prevents any warping etc in the bottom belly of the stove.

    I used cement board with slate tiles on top for my stove hearth and the other stove has cement board and marble. Have to get the stove nice and hot to season it. Rock wool is better but usually more expensive and not as good of an R value(but not far off) I hate glass

    • @JoeHollandFishing
