    Amazing video! Where can the Bologne composition be found? I couldn’t find it online by searching the title used here. I’d love to learn to play it.

    From what I know theese people were all human, not black composers...

      Tell that to the lawmakers, politicians, race scientists, philosophers, plantation owners, academics, historians, bankers, colonial militias, religious leaders, social mobs...

      @@andrewjohnson8232So black people are not human? What are you trying to say?

      @@pyotrskotnicki7098 What he's trying to say is that Black representation in classical music is lacking because most people may not have heard of Black composers especially in classical music

      Maybe because black people were more invested in Jazz and were a lot more succesful there than any othrr. There is no racism in music - only choices. As you can see some people have chosen classical music and have appeared in this video. Cheers

    Why is their skin colour important?

      Because it is a group of people that isnt really known for music of this genre but very much known for others so its interesting to know how these peoples music sounds

    • @kiaraeijo

      It’s important because there’s a lot of discrimination in the classical music world and some orchestras are struggling to get younger audiences to come to their concerts because a lot of them play the same repertoire by what some people call “dead white composers”

    • @homeskillet9802
      @homeskillet9802 2 роки тому +1

      @@kiaraeijo You seriously think that playing music composed by white people qualifies as "discrimination". If you don't like listening to music because of the composer's skin colour, that's YOUR problem, not the orchestra's and not the concert venue's.
      There is no discrimination in classical music, stop being dumb.

      Do you know how many white supremacists there are in the Classical world? Its too much and it drives people away from listening to morr classical
