Universal clipboard (i.e copy things from your iphone/iPad to Mac or vice versa) is free with all Apple devices, it is an Apple OS function. What's not in the clipboard on macOS is history or separate clipboards for different types of data. But lot's of interesting apps in there. Rectangle is a no-brainer for everyone coming from Windows or Linux, and Dropover looks like an idea I am not aware of any Windows or Linux counterpart. It is a brilliant idea. Some things aren't addressed as Windows users like to complain about not getting thumbnails of open windows of an application, and cmd-tab does not work like Alt-tab in Windows, but I know there are apps out there for macOS fixing this. And basically the dock isn't what Windows users want: even in Windows 11 the functionality of the Windows task bar is better than the dock on macOS. I don't miss it that much as I learned to embrace Mission Control (which is not a dock function) and all its related functionality, I do not need the dock to tell me about open windows or apps. But others struggle.
Not a bad list, but I am sick of companies trying to get subscription dollars out of me. $10/mo or 120/year adds up. In 5 years I’ll have spent $600 on apps.. that’s insane. I’ll have to find free or onetime payment options
I switched to MacOS to work without bloating and cluttering my device as I did on my Windows PC and notebooks. MacOS, by itself, has built-n apps that covers nearly all of the functionality of the recommended 10 apps.
I really can't say enough about the production quality. Like I have been trying to make videos for a long time but your videos are crisp. Lemme know if you need like help gathering info on the development workflow being a dev myself.@@hxmzaehsan
I appreciate that, I put a lot of effort into my production quality so it’s nice for it to be recognised 💪 for sure, drop me a message on Twitter @hxmzaehsan and let’s talk about it!
@@hxmzaehsan With a little work you can get everything you mentioned in the Video in Linux as Open Source and completely Free Software. It's amazing how much the Linux community is capable of :D
@@hxmzaehsan Where do I start? Linux does so many things better than Mac (or, Windows). It works on virtually all hardware. It doesn't spy on you. There's a bit of a learning curve, but I'm so much more productive. You should check it out.
😅 I do definitely need to learn more! The idea was to get similar snapping functionality to Windows, but would love to know the native way to snap windows?
Apart from the great
useful content, your narration skills are gold… Keep posting, keep growing, you have talent!
Thank you! 🙏

It's Universal Clipboard, but it's not universal history. So you get that 1 thing on the clipboard at that moment. That's where Paste comes in.
Just moved to mac and didn't even know where to start. So glad i came accross this. TRUE LIFESAVER ❤

Yeah it does definitely start to add up! But, I guess you just have to weigh up whether it’s worth it for the time it saves you or not 🙏

For sure, MacOS is great for a clean setup - these 10 apps are for those who want to try and extend the functionality a little 🙏
I felt like this was more of a setapp advertisement then best apps
I subscribed and want to watch you grow your channel. Good sound quality and production. Great job ❤.
Thank you! 🙏
This is an amazing video, a lot of great suggestions and really high quality. Subscribed :)

This is the first video of yours that I have seen & love the production quality. PS a suggestion make a developer focussed mac workflow video please.

Good Production quality 🔥 and clean editing
Thank you 🙌
Thanks! I've been using Mac since 2003 and rectangle is installed since years, but Droopier I had never heard about! that was awesome!
Glad I could help! 🚀
I feel some of the functionality of the Rectangle app actually does exist within macOS already, but you need to find the key bindings for them.
Oh yeah for sure, Rectangle just makes it easier I feel 💪
Thanks for the info and advice! You’ve got yourself a new subscriber! I’m looking forward to seeing more content from you! Keep up the great work! ❤

Welcome to Apple Family!
😁 thanks!
I switched from Mac to Linux. Best decision I've ever made.
For real? what made you switch?

Linux is pure trash

Once you go Mac, you never go back.
😂 so I've found out!
You could have gotten sleek and premium with Windows though lol
In terms of hardware, I find it hard to come close on Windows to the build quality of a MacBook - maybe the XPS is the closest thing!
Definitely here for future clips. Keep it ut buddy!
Thank you 🙏
Good video comrade! Like, comment and sub
Appreciate you! 🙏
You CAN snap windows. Just not in the way Windows does it. Seems like you still need to learn more about macOS.
