Thank you for this, I found that my idle screw was not attached to the cable tho so I had to go into the carb and screw it from the inside but wouldn't have been able to figure that out otherwise
Theres a thumb screw that the older atvs have same principle but i believe honda came up with this because ive burnt my knuckles a many of times on the crankcase trying to adjust the idle on my 87 trx250x lol.

Mine came out on the side were you ajust the idle on my 2002 400ex
I adjusted mine and it still idles super high any other suggestions
