Does Beyond The Time Barrier (1960) Show Future Events Of 2024? The Mutants Are Freed!?

Science fiction film, Beyond The Time Barrier (1960). The cast included Robert Clarke, Darlene Tompkins, Arianne Arden, Vladimir Sokoloff, Stephen Bekassy, John van Dreelen & Red Morgan.
The movie's story: U.S. Air Force test pilot Major Bill Allison flies the experimental X-80 experimental aircraft into outer space. Something strange happens mid-flight and when he lands back at his airbase it appears abandoned, and in shambles. He observes what appears to be a futuristic city of domes and towers. After being captured by the future society he is informed he has traveled in time 64 years to 2024.
I believe this movie may show future clues to major events that would take place in 2024.
In a pivotal scene at around 55 minutes into the film, Russian Captain Markova stabs a guard to "the pit", a gated jail where the mutants are held, freeing them. The mutants are outliers in the future world, disfigured by the cosmic plague that collapsed civilization and harboring resentment against those who escaped the effects. The mutants proceed to engage in an armed revolt against the occupiers of the future city, the citadel, acquiring rifles and causing chaos.
I'm not sure what event in 2024 this part of the film may be relevant to but 5 months remain in the year as of this recording.
