Hi there. I just discovered this. I’ve lived in Ottawa since 1988. You misidentified the National Archives. The buildings connected by the archway are, among other things Veterans Affairs and Justice. The national archives are further down Wellington from the Supreme Court. A new Ottawa Public Library is currently under construction. It will share its premises with the National Archives which will relocate there. The Supreme Court building is, IMO an attractive building. It’s Art Deco, which is either your thing or not. I also like the US Embassy.
It’s ByWard market.

I work in the Confederation Building! It's really nice but it's basically all offices. Top floor has one of the locations for the Parliamentary Cafeteria which is really good.

We also really enjoyed our time in Niagara Falls. This was our second trip there. This trip we also visited in French Canada, which is coming up shortly in our Vlog, including Montreal and Quebec city. I really hope you got a chance to visit there as well during your trip to Canada.
