That's a good question and the answer is no. That may be an issue with between Apple and Chauvet tech-support. The newest iPad I have is a 2020 model and it works great with FlareCon.

The original version was flawless and worked so perfect for our events! I have been chatting with them several times and asking if they released a video on this yet and they said no. Why would you do a major update and not explain it!
Good video. Has you flarecon app updated to 2.0?? I have the freedom par tri 6's and the original flarecon and I cannot get It to work now. I see a lot of other users are having the same problem. Thanks!
Hey Michael and thanks for watching bro. Chauvet has released an update to the FlareCon App and I'm trying to learn how to navigate it myself at the moment.
Even with the update to the new version of the app, my 24 Freedom Par Hex4’s are rendered uncontrollable via the app. Contacted Chauvet 3x and haven’t heard back once. Anyone have any news or advice??
@@jakeritchie8524 The main issue that I’m seeing is the app won’t stay connected to the WiFi transmitter. Basically, I can get the lights on, but after that, a box keeps popping up saying the app is disconnected. Consequently I can’t control the lights unless I turn them of manually and go fixture by fixture. During/After that comes a lot of cussing on my part

@@bennetadf2054 Good to know! I am trying to pair the Hex 4's and the Quad 4's and the only one that works with 2.0 is the Quad 4's!
Thank you Michael. Flare con now has an entirely new app on version 3.0.2. I'm still Learning how to use it.
