    My mind is blown!!! All these years I thought you needed to go in on high notes. Damn. We’ve been misled by everybody else, not only on UA-cam, but even the teachers that I have seen in person. But generally, when you’re singing, you do bring everything in, right? Just when it’s high notes you release?

      But, of course, you contract the lower belly back in before the end of that high note. That’s important to remember.

      And I guess when you’re releasing the lower belly and pelvic floor, it’s not about pushing them out or down, but spreading them out? At least on high notes?

      I guess what I mean by spreading them out as like a releasing sideways? That’s what you showed in the video.
