Hi, Thanks for following my video, in the list you have three hidden columns once you configure the approval workflow "Approvers", "Approval Creator" and "Responses", all you need to do it's making them visible in the list. If you want to build something more complex you can create another flow that triggers when an item of the list is modified,
Hello, thanks for the video, do you know how to change Lists format as drop-down menu for different views instead of having all tabs open? I liked the function of having the drop-down views it used to be..
Thanks great video. Do you know if MS List now have function to create a cascading drop down list, or dependent drop down list based upon selection from Column (A), will then dictate the multichoice options in Column (B)?
Thanks! This is not supported out of the box, it means that you have to create your custom solution using Power Apps or SharePoint Framework, If you are interested I made a video how to do it with Power Apps: ua-cam.com/video/tunWOyPcXks/v-deo.htmlsi=Ai4fUJfByfgTUS3S
Hi, Both, you can track the status in the same row and in the Teams App Approvals. In the list if you want you can make extra hidden columns visible such as "Approvers, Responses, Approval Creator"
Hi, I have created a list and am using forms to get user responses. However while users use forms they have to manually select their names in assign to column. Is there any way we can auto populate their names once form gets open ? Appreciate your help. Thank you
@@DeLucaGiulian thank you for your reply, I've used the power automaton and I'm the one who receives the notification instead of the person who was assigned the reminder.
This is a common complaint about these types of videos, but you should lower the screen resolution in your computer settings so all of the text is larger. I shouldn't have to watch a video in 4K just to be able to read anything on screen.
@@DeLucaGiulian The function to insert a datetime by clicking or dragging the calendar viewer does not work. And the filters in the calendar viewer are a complete mess, it's hard to even describe what's going on.
@@DeLucaGiulian The biggest problem with the calendar filter is that there is no section to select the fields I want to hold a filter to. It's bad enough that I can set up filters in other ways and they soon disappear or stop working, but not being able to select field names to filter is even worse. I don't even know how to ask in a ticket for this second case.
This was excellent. After so many other videos, yours got me on board to go back to Lists. The new Approvals feature is the icing on the cake. Subbed.
@@rayhere7925 thanks 😉 I'm glad you found it useful
Hello @Giuliano De Luca, thank you for showing the essence of new updates.
Is there a way to see how many approvals went from this list from users?

Hello, thank you for sharing the new features. How can we track the approval progress? Is it on the same row or do we need to go to Approvals app?

Hi,
If you make visible the column created by in the list you will find already the name of the applicant.
Hi, thank you for the video. Is it possible to send reminders to a person assigned to a list in Microsoft Lists?
Hi yes you can create a Power Automate flow that sends reminders to the users
@@DeLucaGiulian thank you for your reply, I've used the power automaton and I'm the one who receives the notification instead of the person who was assigned the reminder.
Hi,
You can read in Power Automate who is the assigned person to the list item and send the reminder accordingly

There are some critical bugs in the new viewer. This is jeopardizing my project, which is on the verge of implementation.
Thanks for sharing, what kind of bug are you experiencing?

That's very bad, did you already raise a Microsoft service ticket to get support?
